About this Cook
I was born in Manila with grandparents and witnessed their home made cooking. Although i moved to california it was then i learned to cook from my mom. Every saturday we would have gathering and friends come over for a new dish motiff every week. I started cooking when i was living on my own, i thought it was less expensive and healthy to cook at home. Now that i am married and living in Germany, i have more time to cook and bake. I do loooove to bake and make desserts b/c i have sweet tooth =D, though i still am very keen in cooking main dishes. I like this site esp when there are days i woke up and have no idea what to cook, i just log on to allrecipes.com!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts and Cakes, Authentic dishes varies from Southeast Asian Cuisine to European dish.
My cooking triumphs
Luckily most of the food i cooked seems to impress my husband =)
My cooking tragedies
I was cooking Adobo and left the meat on stove top for too long that it made it tooo salty. =D hey, i am learning ok.

Pepperoni Bread
Fun, quick and easy! I sometimes will add bacon bits on top of pepperoni and I use the reduced fat pillsbury croissant. My husband loves it!

Rempel Family Meatloaf
OMG this is superb the best meatloaf i've had! It's very moist and tasty. I ommit the onion soup b/c i don't have any. I added garlic powder and italian seasoning on the meat mixture. I love the other reviewers tip to put bread at the bottom of the pan to absorb oil, very nifty! I sure love this and i pack a slice to my hubby's lunch bag hoping he'll ask for more tomorrow. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This pie was gone in 2 days between me and my husband alone! It was soooo delish and it was easy to prepare. Although i use crust from betty crocker that made the crust extra crusty.. I followed other reviews to add sauce on apple slices then i poured the remaining sauce on top. I can't wait to make more of this! Very good, thanks for sharing! BIG YUM!
