Marinated Flank Steak

Oh man, this is so good. I added a tbs. of honey to it for some reason. I thought it called for it but it didn't. I let it marinate for 24 hours and then brought it with us for camping and it was a hit. Now when we go camping it is always something I make at home and then have the first night of camping. I made it as fajitas and sauteed some onions and bell pepper.

Chocolate Cobbler

This is a good recipe to make because it is not too sweet and not too rich. The crust that formed on the edges was the best. I made this for my bf and one of hid friends and they both really liked it. I served it warm with vanilla ice cream.

Blackened Chicken

I am always making this. For salads, sandwiches, or just as a meal. The spices are something I made in bulk and use it as a spice for many other things. Now my bf loves to use it when he cooks. I always use kosher salt and olive oil for this recipe. Thanks to whoever posted this!

World's Best Lasagna

This is so fun to make because when I got finished and tasted it, I thought to myself: Wow, I'm a good cook! This recipe was one that everyone loved. One time I made it with Hot Jimmy Dean sausage and that was good too. It looks so pretty too when it's served!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This is one that is really good and simple to make. The flavors are just perfect and it just makes you wonder why go out to eat something like this when you can make it at home. My daughter thought it smelled weird when I was making the sauce and she didn't think she would like it. Um, well she loved it and always wants me to make it. We ate this with rice and spinach.

Cajun Style Meatloaf

This was so good. I was nervous that my family would not like it because it is an untraditional recipe for meatloaf. I took the chance and I'm glad I did. Everyone loved it, even my daughter. The next day I made grilled sandwiches with it, which was even better. I couldn't find the sausage that the recipe called for so I just used Jimmy Dean Hot sausage and it was really good.

Baked Potato Soup I

Even though this is so unhealthy, my family couldn't help but love it. I get the request to make it alot but there is no way we can have a few times a week. I sauteed some chicken breasts in olive oil and baked them and then shredded it and also put it into the soup. It's perfect in the winter and can take a little extra time but it's so worth it.

Deep-Fried Turkey Marinade

This makes the best and flavorful crust on the turkey and it may seem like alot of cayenne but it's not. My daughter who is 7 ate it and my nephews. This will be one to keep for frying turkeys for us.

French Onion Dip From Scratch

This was really good. I used 2 large onions because 1.5 cups didn't seem like enough by the time they cooked down. It was good to serve at our family camping trip. I think it needed color and I wished I would have put some green onions in there or a little dill.

Candy Cane Cookies III

This was a really cute and different cookie to make for the holidays. I made them for my 7 year old daughter's school holiday party. In the dough, I added and extra half a tsp of the peppermint extract. I used a cookie press and put half of the red and white dough in it. Then I used the setting that let's it out in a round rope like form so it saved having to roll them out. I then cut the pieces and then just slightly twisted them. I then cooked them with red sprinkles. When they were done I put the chopped up candy cane on them and put them in the oven for a about a minute. When they were all cooled I made a thin white icing with peppermint extract to drizzle on the candy canes in a diagnal form to give it the look of more white stripes. It was really good and they looked so cute.

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

I made these again and made some changes. I used 4 large baking potats and cut them into steak fries. I also put the parsley on while they were baking and I added more cayenne. It was really good and everyone like them except the children. I will be making this again for sure.
