Barbarella's German Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2015
I don't have a picture to show as we ate them immediately. They were a bit tricky to get out of the pan for the first flip. By the time they came out(the last two)the batter was gone. Some were served with cinnamon sugar mixture and the favorite were with Nutella. By the way I used a non stick pan that I coated with oil and reapplied as I thought it needed. Cooking spray would be more convenient.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2015
I made rolls. They turned out good. No egg white on top, they browned okay. I felt like there should of been a little something extra in the taste, maybe a bit of garlic next time.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2015
I found this recipe to be easy, taste and texture were good. Recently we had pancakes at IHOP, my wife liked them because they were a bit sweet, so the next time I make this recipe I'll add a bit more sugar. I've edited this review because I want to say that this is the only recipe that I have saved for pancakes USA version.

Danish Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2015
The family loved them, me too. They turned out a bit big and touched each other, no problem with the taste. My wife says they are a bit to sweet. Maybe next time I may reduce the sugar in the recipe. It is okay with or without the confectioners sugar on top. I think this is my new oatmeal cookie recipe. Made cookies this morning with an adjustment to the recipe since my wife said they were too sweet, I added about 1 1/2 extra oatmeal. They turned out better to her liking, me and the kids love them too.

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2014
This is the first pumpkin recipe that I have used where I used a fresh pumpkin. I have made one pie, not eaten yet. I had a lot of pumpkin so I made pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pancakes. I added a little extra spices to suit our family's taste.

I used steak, omitted the crackers and seasoning salt. The whole family loved it. I made my own gravy and mashed potatoes. I did have to add additional oil for frying.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
I have made this recipe a few times and they turn out good. I have one suggestion; use 1/2 cup each of brown and white sugar for the filling. I don't mix the butter with the sugars. I put the melted butter on the rolled out dough, then put the cinnamon sugar mixture on top then roll as directed. I used a muffin pan this time and I liked the results.

Grilled Zucchini Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
We had the big zucchini that needed to be fixed into something, then I see in an email "Attack of the Giant Zucchini" hence this review. The family liked them. The only problem was the seeds, removed them or spit them out. We used the broiler since we don't have a grill.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2014
I like this recipe the crust turned out well, I did use 1 cup of wheat flour. I think it would be better with all white flour. The best part of the pizza was the toppings. After I roll out the dough I put on the cheese (cheddar and mozzarella), ranch dressing, homemade hot sauce, Canadian Bacon and mushrooms, bake, cut and eat. Yummy !!!

Garlic Lover's Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: May 18, 2014
I just took the pizza out of the oven, sliced it and had a piece. The crust tasted good. I used granulated garlic since I had no fresh. I don't have a bread machine so it was done by hand. The dough was pressed into a large rectangular pan, by the time I got all the toppings ready the dough had a chance to rise.

Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2013
This was the first apple pie I made without using a purchased pie crust and a can of apple pie filling. The family loved it. I did mix the apples with the sugar (1/4 cup each of white and brown sugar, cinnamon 3/4 tsp., allspice, nutmeg and clove 1/4 tsp each. Flour of 1/4 cup was mixed into the apple mixture. I got distracted by my children and forgot to put in the crumb mixture but the kids helped roll out a top crust for the deep dish apple pie we ate. I made it by lunch time and it is almost gone before bedtime.

Easy Homemade Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2013
This was the first time I made a pie crust. I liked how easy it was. My whole family loved the apple pie I made. Tomorrow I'll use the other pie crust to make a sweet potato pie. It has been some time since my last review of pie crust. I just want to say that I don't have a food processor, with clean hands I mix the ingredients in the order listed. They come out great!!!

Mayonnaise Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
These biscuits are good. Instead of spooning out the dough onto the pan I dropped the dough onto a floured board and rolled out, then cut out for nice round biscuits.
