Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
OMG! I just made this for the first time and got such rave reviews! As always though, I modified it. I used half and half for the milk, doubled the sauce, added a tsp of garlic powder, and for the real kicker I made the crust out of cheddar bay biscuits instead of pie crust. It was sooooo good.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Absolutely the best mac & cheese I've ever made! Got tons and tons of raves from family and friends and I had to print out the recipe for lots of them. Don't change a thing! It's great how it is.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
I have made this recipe so many times because it is always requested. I found that boneless, skinless chicken thighs are best, and when you roll them up add a slice of mozzarella cheese in the middle. I also use fresh garlic and Italian bread crumbs. OMG! Absolutely to die for. Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe.

This was my first time making a standing rib roast. It came out so good that five days later my husband is still talking about how good it was. I can't believe how flavorful it came out!

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
If more stars were possible, I'd give them! I used the suggestions of many and substituted the coconut extract for the vanilla, added 1 cup white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped macadamian nuts. The taste is out of this world! I can't say enough.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
This was very good as is, but my husband took the extra sauce and added some avocado and proclaimed it the best guacamole he has ever had - and that's high praise coming from a man born in Mexico!

Yes, another five star review! I didn't have quite enough bananas so I used sour cream to make up the difference. Best banana bread I've ever eaten.

I made this recipe exactly as printed. My husband said this was a manicotti you didn't just munch down, but savored every bite. My guests must have thanked me a 100 times for the great dinner. I will definitely be keeping this one.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: May 21, 2007
I made a few changes based upon past comments. First I used real bacon bits and seeded the tomato. This helped with the problem of getting the biscuit soggy. I also used 1/4 cup Garlic Ranch Salad Dressing in place of the mayonnaise (1/2 cup is too much). Next I used Grand's croissant rolls and cut them out with a cup. The cutouts fit into the mini cup pan perfectly. I also added about 1T of chopped green onion. These went so fast I would recommend making a double, even triple batch. Yummy!
