Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
It was good, but I found it to be very salty. Perhaps my roast was too small? Not sure. It was super easy and after thickening the juices into gravy, it made for yummy hot roast beef sandwiches the next day.

Baked Italian Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
This was pretty good. My kids weren't crazy about it. I did spice it up a bit, like the other reviewers suggested. I also used half mozzarella cheese and half Swiss cheese to give it a little more flavor.

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
I had a little trouble getting the stuffing to stay in (maybe I needed more toothpicks), but I found these to be very flavorful and moist. Even as leftovers the next day, I really enjoyed them!

Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
We followed the recipe pretty closely, except added 2 eggs (instead of 1), used both yellow squash and zucchini, and mixed in 1# browned bulk sausage before baking. It was very good.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
I substituted 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt for the sour cream (it is what I had on hand), and it worked wonderfully. Everyone commented on how moist it was. And I loved that I only had to slice the bananas rather than mash.

Kelly's Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
Based on another review, I cut the chili powder to 1 1/2 tablespoons and only used 1 teaspoon of pepper. Additionally, I added some curry powder, a bit of brown sugar, and more corn. It was very good.
