I was born in St. Joseph, Missouri and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I moved to England for 3 years right out of High School. I had no money and no parents to cook for me so I was forced to start cooking for myself if I wanted to eat anything other than french fries (or chips as they are called in England). That's how my passion for cooking started and it has been growing stronger ever since.

I really enjoying baking things and decorating cakes.
I also enjoy making and trying new recipes for dinner.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always love around the holidays, coming into the house and smelling all those yummy and comforting foods cooking and seeing everyone gathered in the kitchen. I have countless memories of times like these.
My cooking triumphs
I think each time I make a meal or dessert that people enjoy eating is a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
Oh man I got a few of these. I once cooked a pumpkin pie without adding the sugar. My boyfriend ate a whole piece and didn't say a thing! (Now that's love.) My first attempt at making a grilled cheese sandwhich ended in a large clump of brunt bread and runny yet crunchy cheese. And I cannot cook rice to save my life, it never comes out nice and fluffy like it's supposed to.
