Tangy Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I made this for the first time a couple weeks ago. Delish! My boyfriend loves this recipe. I reserved the "juice" when the veggies ran out in the first batch. I used the reserved juice for a new batch of veggies over the weekend. As good as the first time. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Extra Easy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
Great base recipe. Here's what I used: 1-29.5 oz Duncan Hines Whipped Chocolate Frosting and 1-11.5 oz bag Milk Chocolate chips. Stir together and microwave for 2 min stirring every 30 seconds (so the chocolate doesn't burn). Add walnuts and stir. Pour in a pan. Refrigerate until firm. If you "melt" the frosting, you will not have the frosting taste. UPDATE: I made this with creamy white frosting, white choc chips, peppermint oil and crushed candy canes. OMG! Awesome! Everyone is requesting this recipe!

Dried Beef Ball

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
I've made this for years, but instead of the Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt, I use the some of the powdered flavoring from the Mrs. Grass Chicken soup mix that comes in the box. Yum!

Strawberry Glazed Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
I bought strawberries on sale the other day, but they were out of the "glaze" I mix with them for our traditional Strawberry shortcake. I simply made this glaze for the strawberry pie recipe. I needed to add a little water to thin out the glaze after it had setup. I also used sugar-free gelatin. Very good! I will never buy the store glaze again!

Macaroni and Cheese V

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I made this recipe for my fiance last weekend and he LOVED it! I did as others suggested and topped with crushed Ritz crackers instead of the breadcrumbs. I also had a large box of macaroni and measured it out to 2 cups. Not sure if that is 8 ounces or not, but it was just enough macaroni for the cheese sauce. YUM!

Soy Sauce Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
My boyfriend loved this! I made some modifications though. I increased the rice to one cup. Perfect! I omitted the mushrooms because we didn't have any. I diced celery and carrots and added them for "color" and diced the browned chicken and added it to the mixture. Delicious!!! Will make again!
