Black Bean Salsa

I place the lime juice, olive oil and vinegar in a tall cup and mix with my stick blender. This recipe is absolutely deliscious you won't be able to stop eating it!

Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

This was a very good way for me to use my abundant supply of zucchini. It was very flavorful. Have made it two days in a row. It is a very easy to make recipe. The only thing I did different was to add black pepper to the recipe.

This was a very simple recipe that made very good cookies. My son thought that there purchased from a bakery. The only change I made was to use lemon juice and lemon zest instead of the lemon extract.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Delicious! The only thing I did different was to microwave the asparagus in a little bit of water for 4 minutes, then I drained it and prepared it as directed.

Easy Guacamole

Oh my goodness, this is so good. This tastes like the guacamole we had on our trip to Mexico. As other reviewers did, I added a teaspoon or so of olive oil and a splash of vinegar.

Cheesy Garlic Bread

This makes a delicious garlic spread. I have made 2 batches already. I double it each time and leave it in the refrigerator and it is there when I need it. I add 1 tablespoon olive oil and I only had Italian seasonings, so used it instead of oregano. One batch I left out the parmesan cheese and was just as delicious. At other times I bake it until it starts to brown around the edges and then put a slice of provolone or mozzarella cheese on it and continue baking until it is melted. This is a keeper!

Sugar Coated Pecans

This recipe is so easy to make and so good. I made it twice, the first time with mixed nuts and then with only pecans. I felt it worked best with pecans. The crunchy coating tended to come off of the smooth surfaces of some nuts. They are hard to stay away from. I will be making these again.

Pear Honey

We have 2 pear trees in our yard so I wanted to find a way to use the large quantities of pears we had. I make this last year and everyone loved it. This year I boiled it longer for a thicker jelly and everyone said it was better when it was thinner.

Chicken, Garlic, and Sundried Tomato Pasta

I really liked this recipe. I used sundried tomatoes packed in oil and added a can of artichokes. There were no leftovers. I will be making this again.

Napa Cabbage Salad

This is "The Best". My sister is asked to make this for every family function we have. When she brings it to gatherings, she brings the dressing in a container and shakes it well before tossing the salad, then adds the crunchies. I'm so glad she shared this recipe with me.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

This is wonderful recipe. Not too spicy. I made it exactly as stated except I used 2 cups of rice instead of 4. I also put my jambalaya into 2 crock pots instead of in the oven. This recipe makes a huge batch.
