Best sugar cookie that I have tasted! Super easy to work with, I rolled them out about 1/4" and got 9 dozen cookies from 1 batch. Going back to work on the next batch. Thanks for sharing!

Very good start! My grandmother used to make an amazing potato soup and this was a great start! I added 1c sour cream, 3t paprika and more black pepper. It was perfect!

Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Very interesting taste. I did add cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce (1T). The guys loved it, but I thought that the mayo was a little over powering in taste. Will make again for the boys but will stick to classic stroganoff for me.

Stuffing for Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
WOW what a time and space saver. Made this for Thanksgiving this year and got rave reviews! We always deep fry our turkey so this is the perfect way to fix stuffing when you can not stuff a bird.

Super easy to make, and everyone loved it! I actually made this to go with the slow cooker beef I was doing so the guys ended up with a side of soup. Perfect for a cold rainy/snowy day! Will absolutely make again!

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Wonderful dinner! I did not have any condensed French onion soup so I used this all recipes recipe (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Rich-and-Simple-French-Onion-Soup/Detail.aspx) I omitted the beef broth and just used 21 fluid oz of the soup i made. The whole family loved it! Will surely make again!

This is the first time that I have ever tried to make baguettes and they turned out great. I made 8" loaves for our dinner tonight (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Slow-Cooker-French-Dip/Detail.aspx) These were a perfect bread for the sandwiches. Thanks for sharing this one!

White Chicken Enchilada Slow-Cooker Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Excellent recipe! I did not have tortillas so I mixed all the other ingredients together, added 1t. ground cumin, 1t. chili powder and let it cook in the crock pot. Smelled wonderful and when it was finished I added a little corn starch to thicken and served it over wide egg noodles. Everyone loved it and asked me to make it again!

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I did not have ribs so I used 4 pork chops, and followed a reviewers advise to use 1/3 cup for the liquids. Then I doubled the recipe and added carrots and let it all simmer. The only change that I would make is to double everything except for the onions and the cinnamon. Used a little corn starch to thicken the juices and served it all over rice. Amazing! We all loved it and will make again!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
Perfect recipe! The only changes I made were the oregano and basil were fresh, I was out of dried and had to pick some. I did not have any italian dressing on hand I only had the 7seas Garlic and Herb blend. What an aroma cooking, we could not wait to try it. I buttered sausage rolls, sprinkled with garlic powder and broiled them, topped them with the meat and cheese, heated to melt the cheese and enjoyed. After the sandwiches were eaten I could not keep the guys out of the left over meat. This is now going to be a staple at our house! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Slow-Cooked Country Ribs in Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
These were ok, I have a new crock pot so it cooks at a higher heat. I cooked them on low for about 4 hours. They were cooked all the way through but were very dry. Flavor of gravy was ok, but I don't think I will make these again.

Cowgirl Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
Super cookies! I did not have vanilla or baking soda so I used 1 extra teaspoon of almond extract and substituted baking powder for the soda. Wonderful texture and flavor. With an "air-bake" cookie sheet I had to increase the baking time to 18 minutes and they are perfectly golden. These are now top of our list for cookies.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
At the end of the growing season I have tons of Jalapenos left and now I have the perfect recipe for them! The only change I made was to add a pinch of garlic powder, cilantro and a little paprika. When I made these last, I froze them before frying! Then I put them into freezer bags. They turned out fantastic. The guys just grab a few and fry them. Quick easy snack, I hope they last the winter!

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
A long time ago I used to buy a certain brand of crab rangoons, which sadly I can not find anymore. This recipe was a great starting point! All I could find at the store was a 16 oz can of crab so I added 1 more package of cream cheese, doubled the garlic and paprika, used 1/3c water chestnuts and sliced green onions. With those small changes, anyone who may possibly remember the Schwan Sales crab rangoons, they were an exact replica! Hubby had me save the excess to use as a spread for crackers, he loved it that way.

Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
AMAZING! I made a few changes, for my group I had to triple the ingredients. For the liquid I used 2 C 1/2 & 1/2 and 1 C white wine. Removed the shrimp & let all ingredients simmer until it thickened (about 30 minutes) Rave reviews will definitely be making again!
