Oven-Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
I found a recipe in a church cookbook that was very close to this one. The only difference was to add more garlic and tarragon to the butter mixture and use more sesame seeds and no parmesan. So, I did those changes and it was wonderful. I'm sure this recipe would be equally as good. I'm saving it to my recipe file. Thanks!

Thai Noodles

We loved this dish! I added a few red pepper flakes at the end because we enjoy very spicy things...otherwise I fixed it exactly as called for. Thanks!

Special Occasion Stuffed Crown Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
I made this for two different holiday parties, complete with white paper "booties", and it was a hit both times! I used a bag of stuffing to save time and needed to add more apple juice to make it moist enough. I used the fresh chopped cranberries, but saved about 1/3 of the bag and cooked them down with sugar to make a small dish of relish to accompany the meat. I cooked the roast at 325 and it turned out very moist.

Chicken Stroganoff I

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
I made this for a casual group dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. One lady asked me for the recipe and I forgot to go print it for her right away, so a week later reminded me that she REALLY wanted the recipe! I used "Kitchen Bouquet" for the browning sauce...I always keep a bottle on hand for my oven steak. Thanks!

The Sarge's Goetta - German Breakfast Treat

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
This sounded so interesting to me I had to try it! I did cut the recipe in half...glad I did because it made SO much. I might spray the crock pot with "Pam" next time...the oats stuck for me, as one other person mentioned. Also, I don't know why, but my slices kind of go to mush when I fry them...guess I need to us a teflon pan. But, all in all, I really enjoyed the recipe and will make it again. Thanks!

Roquefort Grapes

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
I used these as an appetizer for about 12 people...they all raved about them! My parents loved the leftover ones a couple of days later. I bought a bag of roasted, lightly salted almonds and just pulsed them in the food processor...easy and tasty with no roasting time! Thanks for the tip on using a toothpick to get them out of the mixture and coat in the nuts...will do that next time!
