Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
Oh man! Loved loved this!! I doubled the recipe for my family and they thought it was the best they ever tasted. I also added a lil more garlic and a TB of EVOO. I also used cilantro instead of parsley, made for unique change and tasted soo fresh. Will definitely make for a long time!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This is a great recipe! I used knorrs vegetable dip mix instead of spinach and it turned out fantastic. I also used the whole package plus extra spinach, because we like a lot of spinach. I used 8 oz of water chestnuts also. Everyone raved about it!

Pumpkin Maple Pie Supreme

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
ok I loved the taste of this, but I had a problem. The pie refused to set. I followed the ingredients to a t but i used canned pumpkin. I cooked it and it wasnt set so i kept cooking it until the crust started getting too brown. I put it in the fridge but the middle wouldnt set. We ate it with a mushy middle.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
This is the best chicken and dumplings I have ever had! I did make some minor changes. I used 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of mushroom. I only used half an onion and added some rosemary and basil before cooking. I used a 1 lb. can of grands buttermilk biscuits, yum!!! Will definitely make over and over again.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This recipe is good, but needs alot of work. Alot more seasoning needs to be added to the meat or its bland, so I added probably a quarter cup of worcestershire, more ketchup, garlic and seasoned salt and I think it still needed more. The potatoes need milk and more butter to make them smooth and creamy and adding some mixed vegetables is essential. These things helped.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

I liked this salad but I found the dressing way too sweet.Next time I would cut back the sugar to half and probably add some feta cheese or bleu cheese.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
This is a great lasagna recipe. It was so easy for me since it was only my second attempt at making lasagna. I made the mistake of using part skim mozzarella which didnt melt or taste the way whole milk mozzarella does. I also used italian crushed tomatoes and mild instead of sweet sausage and it turned out great. Thank you for sharing.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: May 12, 2007
I love this recipe. I have also used it with other roasts like chuck and shoulder and it turned out beautiful. I think the kosher salt is essential for locking the juices in. Thank you for sharing.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: May 12, 2007
This recipe was delicious. The only thing I will do differently is double wrap the rolls in cabbage because we love cabbage and found it was lacking. Other than that the meat is so good and it turned out perfect in my slow cooker.

Spicy Honey-Mustard Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
Thos recipe was okay. I also would add more mustard and less peanut butter. The peanut butter made it too heavy for a stir fry. I used zucchini, broccoli, asparagus, red pepper and bean sprouts.
