Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Even though I have not made this dish for a while, it has become one of my favorites. The first few time I actually measured each ingredient, now I just eyeball it. You must make it with all the recommendations of the other viewers. That is what I did and it was absolutely tasty! You do not need to bake the chicken separately. What I did was: I sautéed some garlic and cooked my mushrooms and red peppers, and wilted my spinach in that mixture so it would get the flavor of the garlic. I arranged that in a casserole tray. I then sautéed some onions, more garlic and cooked the chicken. I left the chicken in the pot and made the sauce: with the herbs, soup, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, 2% milk, and salt and pepper. I then poured the sauce on top of the spinach mixture and let it cook in the oven for 15 minutes. I then added some mozzarella cheese and baked some more and served with white fluffy rice. YUM

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
These were wonderful! They were so nice and fluffy. I doubled the sugar as many people stated and maybe next time I might add a bit less salt. Even though they were great I think next time I might leave out one egg or use use one large egg and add a bit more margarine, because it had a bit of a egg taste to me. Adding some vanilla is also a great idea for some nice flavour.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
This was really good. The last time I made macaroni and cheese from scratch was 5 years ago in a high school foods class. This is a different recipe from the typical roux/milk cheese sauce. I was really skeptical about this recipe but after I saw all the good reviews I knew I had to give it a try. I did know that due to my likening of spicy foods I would have to adjust the flavoring of this a bit. I made half of the recipe. I sautéed some onions, 1 clove of garlic and a jalapeño pepper. I added a tsp of paprika and oregano. I added ¼ cup of milk to the mixture and set aside. I added all this and the ingredients listed in the recipe to a casserole dish and mixed well. I baked WITHOUT adding the breadcrumbs. After baking 30 minutes in the oven I topped with a light sprinkle’s of cheddar cheese and the bread crumb mixture. The only thing I would change next time was to add ½ cup of milk because even though it wasn’t super dry it wasn’t as creamy. I would recommend that you cook it until the cheese is bubbling.

Chicken Lollipops

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
This is the best appetizer ever! I was always in search for this recipe. I had it in India when I went for a visit but now enjoy it at home. Some suggestions: add the cornstarch like it says in the recipe and add one egg also. the mixture will still be wet so just lightly coat again in corn starch like how you would do in normal fried chicken. And I find it a waste of time to pull down the chicken so I just leave it like normal wings.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
Quite good. You MUST reduce the salt amount. I used half the salt amount and still thought it might be a bit too much. I added a bit more vanilla than the T as others suggested. It was a yummy cookie. Will be using again. I used margrine and worked out fine.

Coconut Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
I made this at a dinner and the family loved it! Some tend to think it's a bit on the heavy side which it is but its mainly pudding so depends if you like that or not. I use vanilla pudding and then add some coconut flakes to it.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
i lovedd this! I read all the reviews first as I do with all recipes and it reallly helps. I add a little bit of sugar like 1 tsp maybe to get rid of the sourness caused by the tomato sauce. I use pasta sauce which has the herbs and surprisingly its actually reallly good and I'm indian so i can say this is an indian dish even with the herb pasta sauce!
