Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
The recipe couldn't be easier!!! But the flavor is a bit strong and odd. The chicken does end up pretty moist and tastes great over rice. I put mine with carribean peas and rice and it worked great.

Extra Easy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Oh MY can you get any easier??? This took me moments to make and tastes great. Not the most sophisticated, but for the ease of making and not needing condensed milk (which I can't have anyway) it was delicious!

These were easy and healthy. Good quick energy cookies. BUT, they don't keep well.

Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
Excellent recipe for my first ever homemade pumpkin pie! I altered the recipe slightly. I added 1/2 tsp nutmeg & 1/2 tsp allspice, I substituted the milk and heavy cream for 1 c of Lactose free milk. I also mashed the pumpkin which gave it a very hearty texture, which was very nice. I would puree it for that very smooth store-bought texture. I used the whole sugar pumpkin (not just 2 cups) and the recipe made 2 very yummy pies :)

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Chicken Pot Pie

SUPER Easy and fast for a great hearty meal! I baked 4 chicken thighs the night before. The next afternoon I took the meat off the bone, mixed with vegetables and soup and topped, baked, and ate...yum yum!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Excellent twist on chip cookies. Very festive for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Great for anyone who loves cranberries. It would also taste great if you used other chips or other fruit, based on your favs. Next time I am using dark chocolate chips!!

Pistachio Cream Cheese Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Yeah, the fingers were impossible for me, so I used a cookie press with the Christmas tree disk. Great idea with the green batter :) Cookies were very yummy and soft. They also keep great on the counter in an air-tight container for at least a week.

Tasted wonderful!! Also an easy way to get picky eaters to eat cabbage. My 12 year old loves mashed potatoes, so this was a winner!!

Creamy Ham and Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
VERY easy and great for holiday leftovers. I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of the fake cheese and it was spectacular! Super yummy with sliced ciabatta bread, or italian bread.

Olive Chicken II

Absolutely delicious!! My husband does NOT like olives but scarfed this down! I used cherry tomatoes and halved them and it worked great! The wine and olives give it an amazing taste. Highly recommend it!!

Summer Corn Salad

Too much oli and raw onion for us. I could see how it could be refreshing and nice for some, but we would but back on those two things.

Russian Tea Cakes I

I used skinned chopped raw almonds instead of walnuts (as that is what I had on hand) which was a fine replacement. Very tasty!

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pistachios

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
I've never wanted to cook brussel sprouts since they stink so bad...but cooking them this way makes a world of difference! They are very scrumptious and should be tried by everyone especially those who do not like brussel sprouts! These are not your grandma's boiled cabbages :)

Lamb Barley Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
I used ground meatloaf mixed meat instead of ground lamb simply because lamb was $10 more!! It was a great substitute affording a good hearty flavor. As another option, I would use lamb chunks for a nice stew :)

Sausage Smothered in Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Great story...my husband was doing anexperiment with red cabbage for a Chemistry class, and so we had almost a whole head of cabbage left and I hate to throw out food...so I turned to allrecipes.com as I do with all my leftover needs. This was a fast and easy recipe. I thin sliced the cabbage instead of shredding it. Sweeter than I expected, but very nice and easy. Also freezes well :)

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
I am desperately trying to change my family's eating habits and eat more veggies, and this was a huge hit. No, really, I have an 8 year old meat and potatoes son and a no-veggies husband, and they both loved it!!! I will certainly make it again!! It was also easy to tailor to what you had in the kitchen (more or less veggies, or turkey meat instead of beef).
