Paula's Bread Sticks

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I bake alot of bread recipes and have tried a few different bread stick recipes and these were so good. My kids loved them, we dipped them in marinara sauce and my daughter must have eaten 6 of them. And when i asked them what they wanted for dessert they said they wanted more bread sticks. They told me to make these every night. I brushed them with parm cheese butter with garlic and oregano just before they were done. My kids had fun making different shapes with them.

Harvest Pumpkin Cupcakes

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2012
These were awesome, loved the icing also. The key is the corn starch, it turns regular flour into cake flour. Make sure you sift the dry to incorporte the con starch so you dont actually get the corn taste. Im surprised that is not mentioned in the instructions. Will make these often. I halfed the icing and it was plenty.

Apple Carrot Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
I just made these and i have to say i am always a little hestitant to make things that are healthy because they usually do not taste very good. The batter looked a little scary when i was spooning it into the muffin cups and my 5 year old even said YUCK that looks gross. But boy was i wrong they are DELICIOUS. My 7, 5 and 2 year old love them and i love them (being pregnant) that they are healthy. Will make often.

S'mores Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
I make mine a little different but i use the ingredients. I line a baking sheet with foil and use whole graham crackers and just lay the crackers on the sheet side by side 8 fit perfectly. Then in a pan melt the butter and brown sugar and pour it over the crackers then bake 5 minutes remove from oven and immediatly sprinkle with marshmallows and broken chocolate bar then bake for another 2-3 minutes. It is wonderful.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
This was delicious. My husband and I are clam chowder coneseurs and we thought this was pretty good. We only get clam chowder when we go on vacation in Long Beach Island NJ, where they have a huge chowder fest, and they only have the best of the best clam chowder. This was the first clam chowder recipe i ever tried, and it was a lot easier than i thought. I never tried it before because i didnt think it would be good enough for our likings but decided to try for lent. I did not do the bacon thing that others did, only because it was lent and i really dont like bacon. I followed the recipe except i didnt use any water just the clam juice and i used half half and half and half whole milk. It was very thick and creamy and delicious. Another thing is to use the chopped clams not minced. Delicious eaten out of a bread bowl.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Absolutely delicious soup. I roasted the squash in the oven and only used 1 package of cream cheese and it was so good. I loved the little bite you get from the cayenne pepper, maybe add a dash more. Oh, i also simmered the broth with 2 bay leaves. I am going to start growing squash in my garden from now on just so i can make this soup.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Absolutely delicious and i am not a sugar cookie fan. I did add some orange zest as another reviewer suggested and it has a very light orange taste. The orange zest just gives it a depth of flavor. We just rolled them and then dipped them in colored sugar and flattened just a bit and they came out perfect. Kids and adults love them.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Delicious and easy with many possibilities. I cooked it following the recipe but did not slice, we served them with buns. Maybe next time i would add a can of crushed tomatoes like other viewers suggested. Can be served with noodles, rice or just along mashed potatoes. We used hillshire farms sweet and hot sausage. Yummy.

Candy-Coated Milk Chocolate Pieces Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
We thought these cookies were very delicious. I used half crisco shortening and half butter and put the batter into the freezer to stiffen them up a bit, it keeps them from spreading to much. They were very soft and they will not last long. I also mixed in most of the m&m and then put a few on top of each cookie so you can see them.
