Cinnamon Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
Wonderful ice cream. I make lots of ice cream and this one was delicious and very creamy. The only thing i did different was to cut back on the cinnamon a bit, 1 1/2 tsp instead of 2. I couldnt stop eating it as i was put it into a container to put in the freezer. I also hd fresh oatmeal cookies, and oh my were they good together. Cant wait to eat more.

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
These did not work for me. I made them in my bread machine and followed the recipe except for i let mine rise overnight in the frig until the next morning. They looked like they rose well but after boiling and baking they were sort of flat, so flat that when i sliced them in half all that was left of them was a crusty crunchy piece of flat bread. They had a nice taste. I dont think i will make them again.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Delicious and easy with many possibilities. I cooked it following the recipe but did not slice, we served them with buns. Maybe next time i would add a can of crushed tomatoes like other viewers suggested. Can be served with noodles, rice or just along mashed potatoes. We used hillshire farms sweet and hot sausage. Yummy.

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Best meatballs i ever made or tasted and me and my family always make meatballs when we have picnics or parties. I followed the recipe but needed to triple for a birthday party. The only thing i added to it was about 1tbsp of worsteshire sause. Usually my meatballs tend to fall apart but not these maybe because they were baked instead of pan seared. After they baked for 25 minuted i put them into the crockpot to keep them warm with 2 jars of garlic tomatoe sauce and served with buns. Delicious!! My new permanent meatball recipe.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
I thought this was very tasty. The chicken turned out perfect and delicious we ran out of the chicken quickly as the kids kept eating while i was preparing the rest of the dinner. Only needed half of the batter for the chicken and it was plenty. I was a liitle nervous making thwis dish but it wasnt as hard or time consuming as i thought it was going to be. Family loved it and my hubby who eats at chinese restaurants said that is exactly how sweet and sour chicken is supposed to taste. I surved it over chinese lo mein noodles. Will make again.

Our family loved it. It was pretty easy and i love one dish meals for our busy family. Husband loved it and he is a picky eater. I didnt have shells so i just mixed it all together with cooked penne pasta and it was delicious. Tastes just like a taco. I used the taco seasoning I recipe from this site and i toasted up strips of soft tortilla shells for the chips. Will make often. Can use either ground turkey or beef. Cant wait to make it for a picnic.

Delicious, tasty pizza crust. Easy to make and ready to use fairly quickly, makes the best crust, crunchy yet tender. Will make this at least once week. Great for bread sticks also. We love it, no more take out.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
followed the recipe and it was wonderful. I do not use tomatoe sauce i use a 29 ounce can of whole tomatoes with their juice and a little extra tom sauce . Easy to make and super delicious with homemade bread on the side. I wouldnt change a thing. I do have to comment that the recipe calls for 1/4 cup of chili powder, i think that is suppose to be 1/4 tsp.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
love these! I have to add that i made these with mini peanut butter cups and oh my goodness they are the best. The peanut butter cups melt quick and i use an m&m on top to help push the p. b. cups slightly into the pretzels and it adds decoration. Then put them immediatly into the freezer. I store mine in the freezer. The only problem is that i cant stop eating them.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Very delicious. I love that it does not contain a stick of butter like most banana muffin recipes and i did not have any oil so i used applesauce instead and they were very tasty and moist. I used a mini muffin pan and just cooked them for about 13 minutes. Will make these often.

Amish Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
Best loaf of bread that i have made in my bread machine. I did not stop the cycle, i just let the machine do its thing, since it has 2 rise cycles. I also substituted 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour for some of the bread flour. Delicious and easy.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This blueberry muffin recipe was the best that i have tried and i make a lot of muffin recipes and blueberry is usually my favorite to make. I doubled the recipe and still only got 15 muffins next time i will double it twice!! Most all other blueberry muffins have a stick of butter, i was happily surprised these did not have butter in them. I loved that the frozen blueberries that i used didnt bleed and make the whole muffin look gooey and all blue. The muffin was very moist and wonderful even without the topping, i forgot. Next time i will try the topping. Yummy

Peanut Blossoms II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
Couldn't get any better than this!! I have made these for years using a different recipe but the cookie was always dry and cracked, so i thought i would give this recipe a try, wow, it is way better. The cookie is very moist and not crumbly with a very nice peanut butter taste. I may just eat them all.
