S'mores Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
I make mine a little different but i use the ingredients. I line a baking sheet with foil and use whole graham crackers and just lay the crackers on the sheet side by side 8 fit perfectly. Then in a pan melt the butter and brown sugar and pour it over the crackers then bake 5 minutes remove from oven and immediatly sprinkle with marshmallows and broken chocolate bar then bake for another 2-3 minutes. It is wonderful.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
fantastic bread! This is the first time bread actually worked out for me. I never like the way my bread machine cooked the bread into a cube shaped loaf. It just isnt the same as baked in the oven. I let my bread rise on the pan that i cooked it on so i did not have to move it. Made a batch today and will make another tomorrow. Delicious.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
These were very good, a little too sweet for me, next time i will decrease the sugar just a bit. Topping was nice and crunchy with a very moist muffin. I will have to get a jumbo muffin pan for this recipe. Just as good as the bakery.

The Best Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
The title says it all. They came out nice and fat even though i used half applesauce for the butter. Not flat at all like i thought they might be. Kids love them and they are perfect.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
This was delicious. My husband and I are clam chowder coneseurs and we thought this was pretty good. We only get clam chowder when we go on vacation in Long Beach Island NJ, where they have a huge chowder fest, and they only have the best of the best clam chowder. This was the first clam chowder recipe i ever tried, and it was a lot easier than i thought. I never tried it before because i didnt think it would be good enough for our likings but decided to try for lent. I did not do the bacon thing that others did, only because it was lent and i really dont like bacon. I followed the recipe except i didnt use any water just the clam juice and i used half half and half and half whole milk. It was very thick and creamy and delicious. Another thing is to use the chopped clams not minced. Delicious eaten out of a bread bowl.

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
Pretty good chicken fingers. I didnt think they were very much like buffalo chicken, i guess you need to add more spices or add hot sauce to your egg. I put some butter on the bottom of the pan because i do not like dry breadcrumbs and the butter helped keep the breading on. I will make these again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This was so delicious and super easy for a quick weeknight meal. Kids and adults loved it. The only thing i did different was to roll the chicken in egg wash after i rolled it and then in breadcrumbs with a dash of paprika. I wanted to make a sauce with it but didnt have the right ingredients, so i just spooned some jarred alfredo sauce over the breats the last 10 minutes of cooking. Will make often.

Apple Carrot Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
I just made these and i have to say i am always a little hestitant to make things that are healthy because they usually do not taste very good. The batter looked a little scary when i was spooning it into the muffin cups and my 5 year old even said YUCK that looks gross. But boy was i wrong they are DELICIOUS. My 7, 5 and 2 year old love them and i love them (being pregnant) that they are healthy. Will make often.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
When they show a picture of the recipe it should be THE EXACT RECIPE not an altered recipe. I should have not added the cocoa powder but it was too late. So i made it following the recipe bit i thought it would be too much chocolate chips with the cocoa. So i only did half cup chocolate chips and half cup peanut butter and 1 cup of p. b. cups. They are good but not what i wanted.

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

it was okay, i have had much better banana cake. The topping was very dry and fell off, so if i make this again, and that is a big IF, i will not make the topping.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
I still have this baking in my oven. The cooking time or temp is WAY off! I cooked this as stated 275 for 60 min, still runny in the middle, cooked for 10 more minutes, runny in the middle, upped the temp to 325 for 10 more minutes, still runny in the middle. I will try another 10 minutes. What the hell is going on how could this recipe be right. I hope it works out I am making it for a church picnic in a few hours.
