About this Cook
I like to climb rocks out at the lake, I obviously love to cook, I love swimming, I like curling up with a good mystery book, and I like photography
My favorite things to cook
Italian, Mexican, desserts, BBQ, I like fried foods but I don't like frying foods, because I always get splattered with hot oil, no matter how caredful I am.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Fried macral, fried potatoes, fried squash, tomatoes, onions, and cheese. That is probably the most popular and favorite dish that our family has been cooking since 4 generations ago.
My cooking tragedies
I was cooking some chicken with gravy, and I didn't know if it was hot enough, so I took my fork and was going to cut it in half to see and when I touched the chicken, it exploded.

Spicy Pumpkin Pie II
I make this pie every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I love it. I get two pies out of it with 9" deep-dish pie crusts. I definitely up the spice quantities too. I eyeball it, so it's different every time, but I go anywhere from doubling to tripling the quantities. I also melt some butter with some of the spices and brush the pie crust with the spiced butter before pouring the pie filling in.

Puppy Chow
I have used this recipe several times, for parties, and we were licking the bowl, it was so good. But I lowered the amount to 30 serving while I was at home eating it as a snack. Wonderful recipe! Definetly 5 stars!

Chemical Apple Pie (No Apple Apple Pie)
I was so amazed! I thought that it was going to taste like Ritz crackers! But it tasted like apple pie and it was so good! I couldn't get my friend to eat it, because she disn't believe that it was apple pie, and when I paid her a dollor to take at least one bite, she ate 2 pieces after that one piece! LOL! Well thanks for submitting this recipe! It's fabulous!
