Loved it. I used real bacon 4 pieces and used a monterey jack cheese mix because that's what I had on hand. Great dip! Used with veggies and toasteds and loved it!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
I made this just like the recipe the only addition was a tbsp of sugar. I did put it in the oven for 60 mins rather than 45. It turned out fantastic and there was no leftovers!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Awesome! A local grocier that went out of business used to make a bean salsa and I've been in search of the recipe since...finally found it! I only used 1/2 c of dressing and added red pepper and cilantro. It was a hit!

Sheryl's Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Easy and tasted great. Did not measure out butter or garlic powder just sprinkled the top and wrapped in the foil. Normally we make these type of potatoes on the grill. They turned out great in the oven as well!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
It was definitely better the second day. I defrosted my frozen chicken breasts for about 10 minutes. I cooked the chicken with one can of chicken broth until I could shred the chicken. I then drained, shredded, and added the bbq mixture (used sweet baby rays) along with some onion and green pepper. I did not add brown sugar...the bbq is sweet enough so I thought brown sugar would be over the top. I would make it again...my dh who loves bbq chicken said it was ok the first day but definitely better the second!

End of the Line Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
I'm giving this 5 stars based on the way I prepared/cooked it. I didn't have cream of celery so I used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic. I used 4 potatoes (smaller ones) and 2.5 cups of ham. I ccoked the potatoes in the microwave first as many others suggested. I first cooked them for a few minutes with a 1/4c of water. Then I added the soup to the potatoes along with pepper and some more water. Once the potatoes were done I added some cheese (american and cheddar shredded) and then the ham. I mixed it all togther instead of layering and cooked for 20 minutes. It turned out great! I did add more cheese and some frenchs onions on top (no sliced onion was added as my husband doesn't like it added onion powder instead) then cooked for 6 more minutes. It was a hit!

Swiss Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
made this for easter and it went over ok. Its pretty good right out of the oven but when it cools not so much. I kept it in the crockpot to keep warm. I may make it again but not for a gathering.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
I loved this recipe! I did boil the sausage for 20 minutes to get some of the grease off. I added a bit more sauce as that is our preference and some additional green peppers. It came out great and my husband and sister loved it!

Chicken Salad Croissants

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
Super easy. I just used chicken, miracle whip, and relish along with salt and pepper. The mayo that is called for kind of overpowers the 2 cups of chicken so I had to cut that in half. I really liked it...we ate it on croissants, rolls, and toast. Very good!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
I just made this salad and it's pretty good. I made some changes for personal preference...I added some celery and a couple of hard boiled eggs. I used a small onion instead of the onion flakes. I used less mayo (although still a bit too much) and used 1/2 tsp of the ingredients instead of a full tsp. Overall it turned out pretty good. Next time I'll use even less miracle whip for a bit drier taste. I think my husband is going to love it!

Silver's Savory Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
My husband absolutely loved the recipe. I did change it a bit after reading the other reviews. I made more of the sauce and when I put the noodles in I put sauce over them along with mozzarella cheese (I had it in the house and wanted to get rid of it). I cooked my chicken in the crockpot and shredded it in the chicken broth then scooped it into the casserole. I used broccoli and mixed veggies along with swiss cheese, mexican cheese, and bread crumbs on top. It was outstanding!!!
