Shrimp and Quinoa

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2014
I used chicken broth, red pepper, doubled the lime juice, mushrooms and ginger, added a 7 oz can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, to give a smokey zing. Added a cup of honey and a few shots of soy sauce. It was perfect!

Chef John's Smothered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2014
Very nice! For those who didn't have buttermilk, try wisking a small amount of lemmon juice into the milk. If too tangy, add a little sugar. Thanks Chef John ands good luck everyone!

A nice typical lasagna recipe...For those who complain about too much water, use less sauce, and to ramp up the flavor, try using garlic and fennel seeds to the ground beef! Enjoy everyone, and Thanks Kristen for a very user-friendly version of this great dish!

Chicken Church Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
A terrific recipe because you can play with it. I will sometimes add broccolli florets and green pitless olives. One thing I ALWAYS add to this recipe is onion soup mix. Thanks Charlotte!

Poppy Seed Poultry Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
a wonderful generic chicken casserole dish, this can be played with so many ways. For example, add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and both sour cream and cream cheese. I also have added sautee'd peppers and onion with garlic. Peas are a nice addition to the rice, or once set up and ready for the oven, I lay out broccolli spears and whole skinned tomatos to give it a color contrast. I use this as one of my buffett dishes. BTW, use the water you boiled the chicken in for your rice.

Tasty Baked Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
A very simple recipe, I added 2 tablespoons of mustard, ketchup and worchester sauce to give it more kick. Refidgerate the meat mixure for 3 hours and then make the balls, they will be easier to handle and a bit firmer. Thanks Julie62
