Swedish Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
This was really good but I think it needed more sugar so I added 1 tbs and it was great. I also didn't want it fluffy so I took the advice of another reviewer and didn't separate the egg whites. My husband loved these and said they were like the 49'er flapjacks he has at Pancake House.

French Toast Stars

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
This is the BEST french toast recipe I have ever tried! I left the orange zest out...I don't think I'd like it with it. I made them into finger slices and cooked on low like some of the other posters suggested. They turned out perfect and I will be making these again!

My husband LOVED this. I made a few changes as one of the other posts suggested and it was delish! Even I liked it and I don't care for chili much.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

These were really good! I didn't have buttermilk so I substituted 1/2 cup of lowfat yogurt and 1/2 cup of whole milk. They were very fluffy and delicious.

Pumpkin Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
This was a mix between a pumpkin pie and an oatmeal cookie. It tasted better the day after. My nanny loved it. I thought it was good but not 5 star worthy. Little too sweet for me.

Christmas Egg Puff

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
This was what I have been looking for for years...literally! I tried the other casseroles on this site that received high ratings but they weren't at all like this. This was light and fluffy! My family kept raving about it and saying how tasty it was. I did add some chopped green onions and a can of crab. After it was done I topped it with sliced avocados. I am definitely going to make this again! LOVE IT!

Stir-Fry Pork with Ginger

This is awesome! I followed the recipe pretty much except didn't have "Chinese" rice vinegar so I used Japanese rice vinegar. I also added mushrooms and carrots and this was so delicious! I will be making it again!

Mushroom Orzo

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
This was really tasty! But I felt it had way too much butter in it. I even used a tiny bit less than 1/2 cup and it was really greasy. But I will definately make this again but try it with 1/4 cup of butter instead. I also added 1/2 tsp chicken granulated bouillon.

Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This was REALLY yummy! With one cup of butter how could it not be? LOL! However, I did substitute 1/2 cup of butter with 1/2 cup of Smart Balance. I also added carrots and used only water instead of broth. I cooked the onions, carrots and celery for a few minutes before adding the rice and water. I then added 3 chicken thighs and let them cook in the water. I had to add addtl water and ended up only using 4 cups of milk. I loved it! Thank you!

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
This salsa was so refreshing! I used fresh tomatoes and used all red onions and added more garlic for my taste. It was divine and all my family raved about it. I also added chopped avocados and a tablespoon of lime juice after I emptied all of it from the food processor. I am going to make this again.

I LOVE this salad. It is always a hit when I make it. The only thing I changed was that I used fresh chopped cilantro instead of fresh basil and left out the olives.

These were so yummy! I loved that they have oatmeal in them! It was a little pain to have to take out the food processor but it was worth it. I didn't have buttermilk so I used a mixture of yogurt and 2% milk. Yum!
