Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2015
This took way longer to cook. I did buy a 3.5 lbs. but it took almost 3 hours to get the temp to 180. It was juicy but I was expecting quick and awesome. The gravy was awesome though. Chicken was just ok.

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
This was so yummy! I used 4 TBS of cornstarch instead of flour like someone suggested. I also used 2% milk. It could have been thicker but it was still good. I also cut the sugar in 1/2. It was really sweet enough this way. I will make this again. I used a simple graham cracker crust recipe which went well with this.

Surprising and Spicy Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2014
This is extremely spicy. I even cut the Sriracha down to 1 tablespoon and didn't put much chili flakes and smoke was coming out of my ears. I had to add a lot of peanut butter and water to make it tolerable. Next time I will omit the chili flakes and put 1tsp of Sriracha instead.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
The Best granola ever! My 5 and 7 year old love it and I didn't have to add chocolate chips! I used coconut oil instead of veg oil. Left out the almonds cuz I'm allergic and brown sugar. Added chia seeds and pumpkin seeds. I also lowered temp to 300 and baked for 25 mins. This is so good! Thank you.

Homemade Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
The filling of the wontons lacked flavor and the sesame oil just didn't go well with it. With everything added to the broth it was good. My husband loved it. I won't be using the filling recipe again. The other reviewer that mentioned to boil the wontons separately was a great idea as it did leave a lot of flower in the water.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
This was great! I did what others recommended and cooked it at 450 for 30 mins then 20 mins for every pound. It wasn't at 130 degrees yet so I had to raise the heat to 340 and cooked it for an additional 25mins. Rested with foil for 20 mins and it was heaven! Everyone raved about how wonderful it tasted and hoe it was perfectly cooked! I used Hawaiian sea salt instead a d used about 2 tbs. Yum!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
These cookies look beautiful when done. I do Think it needs more salt but I love how they turn out crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Do take them out at ten mins even if they look undone because they continue to cook after they are out. They look better than Nestlé Toll House cookies but I think the flavor isn't as good.

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
This salsa was so refreshing! I used fresh tomatoes and used all red onions and added more garlic for my taste. It was divine and all my family raved about it. I also added chopped avocados and a tablespoon of lime juice after I emptied all of it from the food processor. I am going to make this again.

I LOVE this salad. It is always a hit when I make it. The only thing I changed was that I used fresh chopped cilantro instead of fresh basil and left out the olives.

Oatmeal Pancakes II

These were so yummy! I loved that they have oatmeal in them! It was a little pain to have to take out the food processor but it was worth it. I didn't have buttermilk so I used a mixture of yogurt and 2% milk. Yum!
