I made these rolls to go with a pot roast..I followed the recipe to a T..turned out perfectly fluffy and light...I melted about a 1/4 c of butter and mixed in a 1/2 tablespoon of honey and brushed the tops when they were done...PERFECT...they barely made it to the dinner table...thanks for the super easy recipe

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I love this recipe because I didnt feel like I could change things and it wouldn't be ruined....I used 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup yogurt (I didnt have sour cream), 1/4 c oil instead of margerine, 3/4 c brown sugar and 1/3 c white sugar, and a dash of pumpkin pie spice....this was so moist and flavorful and the banana flavor was PERFECT....thanks for the recipe

This is my new favorite recipe!!! I halved the recipe and omitted the chiles (for the kids), added a can of pinto beans, and about 2T taco seasoning from this site...did as some suggested spreading refried beans on tortillas before layering...this was SOOOOOOO good...thanks so much for submitting!!!

Strawberry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I was looking for a recipe to use some frozen strawberries and am I EVER glad I picked this one...I changed it to 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 2 T cornstarch for the strawberries and 2 T sugar and half and half (all I had on hand) for the biscuit part...the strawberry part was NOT runny but set perfectly... and the biscuit was not to sweet but not bland at all...I cooked at 375 for 45 minutes...all I can say is PERFECTO...add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and you're in heaven...

One and a Half Minute Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
Excellent!! You definitely DO NOT need the entire amount of sugar. I used just less than one cup of brown sugar(that's all I had on hand)and it was PLENTY sweet, I also added about 3 TBL of wheat germ. This is a great recipe when the kids want something quick and sweet. Thanks!

Apple Squares

AWESOME! I made them vegan by subbing Earth Balance butter, egg substitute, 1/2 cup organic brown sugar, 1/4 cup organic white sugar (next time I will reduce the brown sugar to 1/4 cup also as it was WAY sweet for our tastes), applesauce to thicken, used apple pie spice instead of cinnamon, and pecans instead of walnuts...this was magnificant and I will now be making a triple batch for my running group...thanks!!!
