Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
Good marinade, but way too much lemon. If I made it again, I would cut the lemon juice in half.

A Pad Thai Worth Making

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
This was absolutely wonderful. Here were my modifications: 1T Tamarind paste instead of fish sauce. 1/2 of the lime juice, Tamari sauce instead of oyster sauce, added thinly sliced carrots, and doubled the sauce. I also boiled the noodles first, instead of the soaking method which can make rice noodles gummy. Will definately make this again.

Green Bean and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
I altered the recipe a bit - added chunks of chicken, fresh green beans and used fresh chunked potatoes. It needed to cook about an hour with the fresh potatoes. My hubby loved it and I did too.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
This is wonderful. I also add carrots, celery, onion and garlic. I cook gluten free - and subsitute 1/2 c rice flour instead of wheat flour. I use one cup skim milk and one cup half and half. I let it cook for one hour once the ingredients are combined.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
This was good - but could be improved. I used less noodles and ended up using more sause as it really got dry. I also used less cheese as it really called for a lot. I liked it, hubby thought it was okay but needed many more noodles..Uh, I dont know if I would make it again.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
This was very good. As others suggested, I used skim milk in place of the condenced milk. I also used devils food pudding instead of regular chocolate. I made this for a bridal shower and the left overs were eaten by my husband (who doesnt love chocolate) within an hour of bringing it home. Would definately make again!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
This was great! I did pound out the chicken a bit, and added season salt to the other seasonings for extra flavor. Baked at 400 for 25 minutes and broiled at the end. Oh,and I only used 2T butter. You dont need 1/4 cup. Served with mashed potatos and corn. Will definately make again!

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
These were very good. I used russet potatoes and cut them thinner so they would be more crispy. (I used six potatoes). Baked them at 450 for 40 minutes and they were very good. Only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is I would have liked to have tasted the seasoning a bit more.
