Country Sausage Gravy

I absolutely love this gravy. The fresh herbs and bell pepper give this gravy such flavor and character. If you are looking for simple white gravy this is not the recipe.

The Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

I made this recipe using Coors Light because that's all we had in the fridge. Had the butcher ground some sirloin for the patties and marinated them longer than called for - about an hour. They came out so deliciously juicy. Me and my boyfriend were impressed. Will be making these again with a better quality beer.

Pumpkin Soup

I had never had pumpkin soup before and decided to give it a try. Me and my boyfriend both enjoyed this soup. The pumpkin flavor is very subtle. The soup creamy and hearty. It's just a lot of work cutting up that pumpkin.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

I love this recipe because it's so quick and easy and uses ingredients that are always on hand. This sauce is really good! Although it was a little runny when it came out of the oven, I added a little flour and once it cooled down it thickened up a bit. Poured it over the chops and mashed potatoes and we really enjoyed it. I used boneless pork chops that were just under an inch thick, baked at 350 15 min each side.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I cooked some bacon and used that in place of the ham - it was great! We ate it with freshly shredded sharp chedder on top. The boyfriend and his friend loved it and so did I. Only thing I can say is that if you don't love pepper I would definitely cut down to a half teaspoon and add from there.

Shredded Beef Tacos with Lime

Wow! After making this recipe I will never go back to ground beef tacos again! The meat came out so tender and moist and the flavor was excellent. I marinated it overnight following the marinade exactly as written in the recipe. When I baked it in the oven, I used a can of beef broth instead of beef stock. Looking forward to making it again for company - it's a keeper!
