Margarita Cake

Great cake, also had to thicken up the frosting, which was fine as the first lot soaked in and made it more margarita like.

I love garlicy caesar salad so I put in a lot more garlic, (and anchovies) than asked for. This is one of the best caesar salads I have ever tasted, and I've been to many a restaurant where they claim that they have a "famous" caesar. I can only think of one restaurant that can even compare - So here's a plug for Buono Appetito in Canton CT, (BYOB as well).

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

I was having a dinner party and made this, everybody thought I'd picked it up from a bakery. They knew it was homemade but couldn't believe that I'd made it. I'm a cheesecake lover and this has to be one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted.

These came out unbelievably good - I'm not really a cookie person, but I couldn't get enough of them, I made 3 flavors, vanilla, lemon and almond.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Made this for the first time as part of my girlfriend's birthday dinner. I used my 11 year daughter as a tester and said it was the best soup she's ever had. I then tried it out on my neighbor and she fell in love with it. I followed the recipe to a T, but maybe next time will use half and half, or something else w/less fat.

Roquefort Pear Salad

This was so good that I've made it multiple times, one change was that I used bagged lettuce as it is dry, when I used fresh lettuce I didn't dry it enough and the salad was soggy.

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

Used a lot more curry powder than in the recipe - and I put it in philo dough cups, it was the hit of the party - so much so that people were making note that I was the guy who made the "curry things".

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

very easy to make, I had to use half splenda as I ran out of sugar, my girlfriend doesn't like Splenda but she didn't even notice and is not even a dessert person and she loved it so much she had some for breakfast.
