I let this set overnight and used Heineken beer, it had a nice subtle flavor to it.

Artichoke Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2014
I was really excited to try this but something was off with it for me. The only thing I added was some canned jalapenos for some heat, maybe if I try it again I need to add more!

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2014
This was super easy to prepare and cook. I didn't use as much salt and I think I used more cayenne pepper, sometimes I just dump and don't measure, this was one of those recipes. I let the shrimp set it seasoning mix for about 30 minutes adding the juice of half a lemon the last 5 minutes and grilled, they were wonderful!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
I followed the advice of others and coasted the chicken with flour. I browned the chicken and admittingly did not measure anything. I left out the ginger root as I didn't have any and I used August in Austin hot sauce. The stickyness was great as well as the heat. Served over brown rice.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2014
Did not have 3/4 C of mayo and that was okay it was still plenty creamy. I used way more than a pinch of garlic pepper and fresh grated parmesan cheese; the flavor was fantastic!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 25, 2014
This meatloaf turned out fantastic. I made it over a friends house where she loves her husbands meatloaf. He was working that night I happened to make this and I think she liked this one better than her husbands. I had 1.5 lbs of hamburger already thawed in the fridge so used that instead of the turkey. I also did add plenty more seasoning as well and glad that I did as I do think it would have been a bit bland as some of the other reviews have stated. The cheese was fantastic, I am not sure how much I used, I am sure more than called for :) I also did add brown sugar to the ketchup for a sweet flavor. Will be making again!

Pasta with Italian Sausage and Pumpkin Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2014
I used chorizo sausage as that is what I happened to have on hand already and light sour cream. Even though it seems like an odd combo the flavors mixed together very well and tasted delicious. Topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese, fantastic!

Artichoke and Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2014
This was a while lot easier to make than I thought it was going to be! The chicken was nice and juicy. I did think the filling was a bit on the bland side, next time I will add some garlic and maybe a few other things to spice it up a bit. I also have lots of filling left over so will reduce that a bit next time.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2014
This was a fantastic recipe and even faster and easier to make than I would of thought. I did not use butter when cooking the meat and I also halved the amount of butter that is mixed with flour and did not use as much milk. Added a bit more to the thickness of my liking so it was too runny. Will be making again!

I wanted to try a different chili so gave this recipe a go. It was alright but I will definitely go back to my usual chili recipe. There are some things missing.....

Ratatouille

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
Overall an easy recipe. Hardest part is the chopping of the veggies. It is a fantastic one dish meal, less to clean up! I used only salt on the top and very little and the use of real, fresh grated parmesan cheese makes all the different.

Chef John's Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
This was a very nice blueberry muffin. I didn't use as much lemon zest as the recipe called for and I am glad as they might have been more lemon muffins than blueberry if I did use a whole tablespoon.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2013
This was fantastic! I made it for a breakfast potluck at work and it was loved by all. The only thing I did not use as the recipe states was the cream cheese. As I was putting the cream cheese on it seemed like if I used all of it that would have been way to much. The sauce was great. I will for sure be making this again.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
It is really hot so I didn't want to turn on the oven for that long. I first cooked them in the microwave for about 15 minutes. I than scooped them out leaving out the milk and butter and put them in the oven just until the cheese on top was melted. This saved a lot of time and prevented my from dying in my kitchen from the heat.

Chicken Wraps

This was great! I did just slightly cook the bacon and marinated it for about 4-5 hours. Made it as a main dish for dinner and served with double baked potatoes and a veggie.

Slow Cooker Porcupine Meatballs With Peppers

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
Recipe was easier than I thought it would be but not as flavorful as I thought it would be. I will try again but maybe add some more spices or try a different pasta sauce. On a good note, I made for a potluck and I didn't bring any home.
