Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

I make a very similar recipe, except, I fry some chopped onion with the bacon and use horseradish cheddar cheese. I also FREEZE the cheese before I add it to the burger, takes a little longer for the cheese to melt....which makes it a bit less messy.

Fried Chicken Tenders

I have made homemade chicken fingers for quite a while. My only suggestion...if you're looking for REALLY flavorful chicken fingers...use the pre-seasoned chicken tenders. They are not as inexpensive as regular boneless chicken breasts, but, they impart a wonderful flavor in the chicjen fingers.

Fabulous Foolproof Lasagna

This sounds pretty much like the lasagna I make...I DO have one suggestion....after you take this out of the oven...please WAIT about 15 minutes before you cut it. It will be difficult to wait....but...the fact that it holds firmly together after you cut it will make the wait worth it.

Jasmine's Brussels Sprouts

this is a pretty good recipe, but, I make a variation of this for Thanksgiving every year and the two things I do a bit differently are...I add some finely chopped shallot along with the panchetta and I also add about a tsp of butter to the panchetta/shallot mixture while I am sauteeing it.

Pennsylvania Dutch Potato Filling

I have been making this particular dish for 30 years. It is a nice alternative to just plain mashed potatoes or plain bread stuffing. My only comment is that I find that for some reason, the tatse is better if the mashed potatoies are a day or even a few days old.

Chicken Cordon Bleu-ish Grilled Sandwich

I was looking around the site for a "different" sandwich and came upon this. I was not sure about the BBQ sauce, but, after reading other's comments, I used it. The sandwich was DELICIOUS! I DID take the advice of another reader and I used Texas Toast. It was very good and I will be making this again.

Deluxe Corned Beef Hash

This is EXACTLY how I make my corned beef hash. I, too, make sure that when I buy a corned beef, I buy one extra big so I can have a piece leftover for this hash. The onlyt thing I don't do is add the carrot...AND...I use potatoes that have been pre-cooked. I generally bake a few long white potatoes a day or so before I make the hash...you could also use the leftover potatoes if you started out with a New England Boiled Dinner. This is JUST delicious!
