Texas-Style Baked Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
Awesome! Everyone loved these and commented on them how great they were. They were the only item on my menu that I did NOT have any left over. :) Will definitely make again!

Portuguese Custard Tarts - Pasteis de Nata

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
This was a great recipe. Even my kids loved it! Mine were done at 20 min. I continued to cook them longer to get that "browning" on top, but should not have. Next time I'll take them out and skip the browing on top.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
I used a whole rotis chicken. Do not use the water it calls for, and only use half the tomatoe sauce. I also only used half the taco sauce on top and added extra cheese on top. Everyone loved it except my toddler.

I would definitely double the peaches in this reci, and also put less sugar on the top before baking. Overall a good sweet cobbler!

Best Moist Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
Cake not sweet. A bit heavy too. I'm sticking with boxed devils food cake by pilsbury. It's light and sweet and a whole lot easier to make.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
This wasn't salty enough. If I make this again, I would use regular Soy Sauce, or just salt it as I was grilling it. I think that is all it needed. I served this will Healthy Fried Rice.

Thank you for publishing this great no fail recipe. I've been making cheesecakes for years, and this one is the first that didn't crack on the top. My Hubby LOVED it! This will replace my old recipe!

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
The only things I changed on this recipe was that I added about 3/4 cup more choc. chips and I omited the pecans. It is a beautiful cake, and SO EASY to make. I will make this again and again. I cooked it for 55 min - just as recipe states.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
We loved this recipe! I used a fully cooked kentucky legend smoked ham. Only used about 15 whole cloves and omitted the ground cloves as other suggested. Followed the rest of the recipe exactly. It turned out wonderful! I had a hard time finding Apple Cider this time of year. I asked the produce manager if they had any - and luckily they had just gotten a shipment in. He went to the back and brought me some. :-) The ham was moist and perfect. I will make this again. It is a simple worry free - no fail recipe!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I followed advice and used, 1/3 cup brown, 1/3 cup powdered and 1/3 cup white sugar. Cookies were not greasy at all. I used Jiff pnut butter. My kids did not like them, however when I brought them into the office they dissapeared before noon! I will make again for adults.

I seasoned my chicken with Southwestern spices instead of taco seasoning. I also used fresh salsa. Great recipe. My whole family ate it up.
