About this Cook
I am in a wonderful, loving relationship. I work a full time job, work out everyday, and love to cook.
My favorite things to cook
My specialty is definitly baking. I love making cakes and cookies. I enjoy cooking for large groups of people.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom worked a lot so we don't really have any family cooking traditions, other than we had to have a taco night every week.
My cooking triumphs
Not sure what I would consider a triumph. When I can perfect the rum cake recipe I got from Pampered Chef, then I will have a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
I have burned myself numerous times (even second degree burns), cut my fingers, dropped cakes, forgot ingredients after it was half way done baking. But nobody has ever complained about my cooking.

Candy Cane Fudge
I love this recipe, although I would not call it fudge! The taste is fabulous, I love the candy canes mixed with white chocolate! I do have one suggestion though, I would use a bigger pan than the 8x8, cause this stuff was so thick. I had everyone cutting their pieces in half. But it was gone in no time. Thanks for a delicious recipe!!

Rich Yellow Cake
I used this recipe for my bosses birthday, I was so embarassed when everyone started eating it. The cake was dry and the flavor was awful. This is the worst recipe I have ever made. I will never use it again, nor would I ever recommend this recipe to someone.
