Black Bean Brownies

Very Tasty! Taste is a little more cakey then traditional brownies.. but still very good! cannot taste the beans! I used organic unrefined coconut oil and omitted chocolate chips. Will definetly make again.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Very good! They taste almost like a rustic potato chip. Not exactly, but close enough. Especially when on a diet! Thanks for a great recipe that im sure to repeat over and over again.

Lemon Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
This was a great recipe. It was very easy and quick to put together and came out moist and flavorful. I know some people mentioned adding more lemon but I thought the amount in the recipe was perfect. Tasted even better the next day. Thanks for posting the recipe

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
So Good! I brought them to a family get together and every one LOVED them! You really have to be careful not to overbake. The cookie will still taste good, but it won't have that soft velvety truffle texture in the center. MMMM... can't wait to make these again.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
This is such an easy recipe... but so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, except omitted the bay leaf because I didn't have any in the house. Also, I like my sauce to be just a little thicker, so i added a little extra flour and allowed to cook for an extra 5-10 min until the sauce coated the back of a spoon. Served with mashed potatos. Everyone loved it.

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
I followed the recipe almost exactly, except I added 1 cup of apples. When they first came out of the oven, I wasn't to crazy about them. But once they were room temperature, they tasted wonderful. I even put a few in the fridge and think they tasted even better the next day cold! They were very soft and chewy. Tasted almost like a mixture between an apple crumb cake and a brownie. Will definetly make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
These tasted great! Very simple but great cheesecake taste. Next time I make a large cheesecake I will use this recipe to replace the one I currently use. Also loved the vanilla cookies crumbs on bottom instead of graham cracker crumbs.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
These shrimp turned out wonderful. I actually coated them and put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer, then put them in zip lock bag. Fried them up 2 days later for a party and everyone loved them. By themselves i would maybe add a little bit of sugar to the flour because i like them to be a little sweeter (even though i used sweetened coconut), However when served with the orange marmalade/horseradish/mustard mixture they were EXCELLENT!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
The seasoning blend alone is 5 stars! Chicken came out nice and juicy (no basting needed), and drippings made delicious gravy. However, it was done in about 3 hrs. so it is important to check temp. to make sure you don't overcook it. But low and slow is definetly my new preferred cooking method for chicken.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
These turned out fabulous! I baked them instead of frying and used panko crumbs to give them some extra crunch. I also used 1/2 cheddar cheese and 1/2 pepper jack cheese. A little time consuming but worth it. I made them in advance, stored in freezer, and then popped them into oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes with great results.

Fresh Asparagus Risotto

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
I have always wanted to try making risotto, but had always heard how difficult it was to get right. It turns out to be a little time consuming but not very difficult at all. Such a great recipe. THe only thing I did different was add a little extra parmesean chesse. Served with sticky rotisserie chicken from this site. Great meal.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
I made a triple batch of this recipe for a party.. SOOO GOOD! nothing but compliments.. and everyone said this was the best version they have ever tasted. I also omitted spinach, and used egg roll wrappers instead of tortillas. I fried all of them 2 days before party, wrapped them in plastic wrap, placed in fridge and reheated at 425 degrees for 10-12 min. Not as crispy as when they are first fried.. but not soggy either. I served this with ranch dip that i added chili powder to. Next time I will try baking to make them a bit healthier. Thanks for a wonderful recipe that I will definetly be making over and over and over again!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2010
very good. I think next time i will marinate the chicken overnight for even more flavor. I doubled the sauce, so that i had enough for basting. Next time i think i might even triple the sauce and serve some over the finished kebob, maybe over rice.
