My cooking triumphs
My Mother was a great cook and won many Blue ribbons at the state fair. After she passed away I decided I should learn to bake a pie. So with the help of Alrecipes I made the Strawberry-rubard pie. With great success. I had arrived....
My cooking tragedies
a few like runny lasagne when it was cut. but I learned not to cook the noodles just make it the day before and let them soak in sauce overnight.

Roasted Rack of Lamb
This was very good , the only thing was some of crust on bottom was a abit burned so I just scraped it off over all it was very good, this was my practice one next time for company it was that good. I cooked it 20 minutes and was pick in middle but done . very good

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie
Made this for Thanksgiving and it was the hit of the desserts, came out perfect. I did as the viewer suggested and used half coconut milk and also used cornstarch, I did use the full cup of coconut in pie sprinkles some of bottom of cooked crust and then toasted more for the top. With my Mothers pie crust recipe this is a keeper.
