Best Brownies

These brownies were exceptionally chocolatey. The only change I made to the recipe was to add one 1-ounce square of dark baking chocolate to melt with the butter. These have a great texture, and I will definitely use this recipe again! Also, I lined the pan with parchment paper and then greased it -- this made it really easy to get the goodness out of the pan.

Low-Fat Broccoli Soup

This recipe is a great way to use up old frozen broccoli that has freezer burn. I added lots of ground black pepper, 4 cloves of garlic, a palmful of basil, and about 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese -- and it it delicious! Also, I used skim milk instead of the evaporated milk/cornstarch combo, just enough until the texture looked right.
