I used two red velvet cakes in a batter bowl plus two 9" rounds. The frosting is a meringue butter cream dyed 4 different colors. I recommend baking the cakes for the time listed. I went for the lower temp, longer time, more even baking. It took 5 hours @ 225!!! It was 1 am before we were able to frost the cake! Red velevet was a big hit.
