Very Special Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
Really a great recipe! I make a big pot of this and freeze two ladle fulls in each ziploc freezer bag (Makes like 14 bags!) Then for a quick meal for my husband and myself I reheat the sauce, cook the pasta, and dinners served in 15 mins! This recipe really helped us out when my son was born : ) Thanks a lot!

Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
Amazing! I've made this for a dinner party and they loved it! I skip the sauce, and use bread crumbs seasoned with thyme, oregano, basil, garlic salt and Parmesan cheese instead of the cereal. Absolutely perfect, every time (and I make it often :D )

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I've made these cookies countless times now. They're like eating little puffy clouds! Fantastic! I use unsalted butter. I bake them until the bottom edge just turns brown. I let them cool 5 mins then transfer them to a wire rack and I've never had a problem with them falling apart. I've dipped them in white and dark chocolate, given them away as Christmas presents and had the recipe asked more times than I can remember! Thanks for the recipe!

Fantastic Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I use this excellent recipe for my focaccia base. I add 1 tsp each of basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme and 1/2 tsp garlic salt to the 2 cups flour right away. When I have some on hand, I mix in 1/4 cup diced sun dried tomatoes as well into the mix. I find that if I put the spices and tomatoes on top near the end, they all fall off.I like the added flavor of doing it this way instead : ). Next time I'm adding olives into the mix as well.

Ukraine Baked Potato Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
It was very dry and I ran out of eggs near the top, so the next time I baked it in a tall dish, so it wasn't so dry and added more eggs and onion. Try adding sliced hungarian sausage (kolbasz) for added flavor to the layering.

French Spring Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
Has a very fresh and light spring taste. I added the potatoes, cooked for ten minutes, then added the carrots, asparagus and rice so as to not over cook the asparagus. I used half and half water and chicken broth and no extra salt. My fiance loved this with fresh baked bread!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
I loved how easy this was to prepare and how very filling it is. I did have to add a bit more chili powder, but other than that, it was perfect.
