Perfect Ten Baked Cod

This was good but really boring. The fish came out a really nice texture but I felt it was lacking in flavor. Maybe more lemon, more wine and some other spices next time. It's definitely worth playing around with.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

These were really tasty - almost like Mozzarella sticks but without the stringy cheese. I forgot the add the Parmesan at the end but found they didn't need it. Also, we just used about 1/4 inch of oil in the frying pan and it worked fine.

Classic Macaroni Salad

I am addicted to this stuff! I seriously can't stop eating it. Definitely make it a day ahead. I didn't use the carrots or pimentos (personal preference) but did add 2 cans of low sodium tuna since we always had tuna in our mac salad growing up. A very simple recipe but a staple in my house now.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Very yummy soup and fairly easy to throw together. My local grocery didn't have lemongrass and I ran out of time to drive across town to the more gourmet one but it was fine without it. Added a bunch of extra curry paste because I know the brand we buy has very little spice. Would definitely make again, maybe adding a few more veggies (red pepper - not sure what else.)

Garlic-Ginger Chicken Wings

I thought this recipe was good - my husband said they were the best wings he's ever had! I even omitted the salt and used low sodium soy sauce for health reasons and they were still delicious. Probably wouldn't do anything different next time. Thanks

Enchiladas Suizas

Mmm... addictive. Used slightly less cheese and cream to make it a little healthier and it turned out great! Didn't skip frying the tortillas, though - I feel the slightly crunchy tortillas really added to the dish. The only change I would make next time would be to add some spices to the chicken itself. Mm.... I already want more!

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Wow, I never thought that cauliflower that wasn't drenched in cheese sauce could be this good. My husband said he could have just eaten a large bowl of this for dinner. Will be making again next week!

Roasted Curried Chicken with Couscous

Delicious! Made exactly per the recipe except omitted the salt and made a 5lb roaster. Getting the curry sauce under the skin was key... made the meat very flavorful. Looking forward to trying chicken salad tomorrow.

Smashed Cauliflower

Mmm... I have to say I did alter the recipe, but found it delicious! I cooked the cauliflower as directed, but then drained it completely. I then whipped it with a hand mixer with the butter and cheeses and added in a little half and half to get the right consistency. Definitely not low-fat, but delicious. Will be making this again!

Fried Onion Rings

Mmm... not too heavy of a batter. I don't think it needs any extra beer, like previous reviewers have recommended. Made according to the recipe, except added some spices (Chili powder, garlic powder and cayanne pepper) to taste. Will definitely use again, thanks.

German Red Cabbage

So easy to make and delicious! It was a big hit with my family, will definitely be making this again. I didn't have any whole allspice so just omitted it, but it came out fine. I made this a day ahead and then just heated it up on the stove for dinner when guests came. Served with Sauerbraten that had marinated for 2 days and this was a bigger hit than that!

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Used baby back ribs and only cooked for 2 1/2 hours, were beginning to burn. My husband said "they were good, but not amazing." Good texture, very tender but the flavor was nothing special.
