Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
I made this recipe exactly as written and when they were done I tossed some in wing sauce, some in sweet chili sauce and some in honey mustard/BBQ sauce. Absolutely PERFECT! Making again tonight for New Years!

Colcannon Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
Tried this one for St. Patties day and am SO glad I did! YUMMM! I will definitely make this again~often! Followed the recipe (except didn't use leeks)...used about 10-12 red potatoes and a med size head of cabbage, (+generous salt & pepper). Even took some leftovers to work today and was a hit! Can't wait to try with bacon next time!

Cocktail Meatballs IV

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
This recipe is AWESOME!! I have been making this for years with just the grape jelly/chili sauce combo but had some at a party that were better than mine so came on here looking to see what that extra ingredient was and it must be the mustard! I used 3 bottles of chili sauce and one of the big plastic jars of jelly (which is almost equal amts of each and a little more than this recipe calls for), 2 tbs yellow mustard and also added about 1 tbs. of dried minced onion. Used approx. 1/2 bag of frozen italian meatballs from Sam's (it's a BIG bag). Heated sauce on stove then poured over somewhat thawed meatballs in the crockpot & cooked on low for 4-5 hrs. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME and better than my old recipe - will definately make again!!

French Toast II

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
Easy and very very good!! I cut the recipe in half and used half&half instead of milk. At first I thought would be WAY too much cinnamon but was perfect! Excellent recipe!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
These ribs are AWESOME! Was very hesitant about boiling the ribs before baking - thought it would suck the flavor out. Had some country style ribs in the frezzer that I had gotten on sale and did not know what to do with. Followed other reviewers suggestions and added soy sauce, onion, garlic and a dash of worsteshire to the water - boiled one hour. Put in baking pan, covered with Sweet Baby Rays & baked on low for an hour. THE BEST ribs I have EVER had!! Will make these over & over again! Thanks!

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
This is THE BEST pot roast EVER!!! Am usually hesitant about covering things with Cream of Mushroom soup since it just makes every recipe taste the same. The combo of white wine, soup and dry soup mix though is perfect! The addition of the flour thickens the gravy up so nicely. Was seriously dreaming about it the next day planning on when I could make it again! LOVE this recipe - thanks!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
YUMMM - this bread is soo good!! Was a little worried because I only had 4 bananas but it turned out beautifully browned, moist & flavorful! The only thing I changed was to add 3/4 cup walnuts. Was so easy - will definately make again and again!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
Have been meaning to come on and review this since it is THE BEST chicken noodle soup EVER!! I make it all the time, use a rotisserie chicken & it's so easy!! The only thing I change is add a Knorr's chicken boullion cube (they are double strength). The vegetable broth is what makes it so good - have used a similar recipe w/o the veggie broth & something was just missing....this one is perfect every time!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Original Nestle® Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This was the second chocolate chip cookie recipe I tried from this site and this was by far THE BEST!! Took the tip to let the butter & eggs get to room temp. & I think that made all the difference. They spread perfectly, browned wonderfully & were just SUPERB!! Thanks for the excellent recipe! Will DEFINATELY make again!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
These are AWESOME!! I will make every year! I made the choc. cake/choc. frosting & added a bag of Andes Candies bits while still warm (suggested by a reviewer) and they are THE BEST!! Also made the german choc. cake/coconut pecan frosting then rolled in pecans - these were not AS good but still ok. I was a little hesitant to use the Almond Bark as opposed to real chocolate but am so glad I did - it sets so much faster and tastes just as good as the real stuff - also easier to dip than real choc. One tip: Don't refigerate after dipping - they will sweat and then turn sticky when you take them out. Thanks for the GREAT recipe!

Macaroni and Cheese V

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
This recipe was EXCELLENT! I added mozzarella and used a yellow/white cheddar combo - next time will add parmesan as others have suggested. Thought the onion would be too much but was incredible. Used a sleeve of crushed butter crackers and 3 tbs butter for the topping - VERY very good - and I am not a big fan of mac-n-cheese! Will definately make again.
