Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2014
Absolutely delicious! I didn't change anything on this recipe and we loved it. We're not big on raisins so I used the golden raisins and it turned out awesome!

Savory Roasted Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2014
IT's a great base recipe but its really bland. I added in (lots) of garlic salt, a little nutmeg, and about a tsp of pumpkin pie seasoning and it made it awesome!

I think i've tried all the mac and cheese recipes on this site and anywhere else I can find and this one is by far the best!! I like to top mine with crumbled crackers rather than bread crumbs.

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
My family loved this recipe but it wasn't quite what I was thinking. I was looking for more of a bar and this was more of a caker. BUt, it makes great power cake and i'm sure i'll make it again as you can substitute for a dessert and still be somewhat healthy. Thanks!

Foil-Pack Taco Chicken Dinner

Absolutely delicious!! Made as written for the most part, I just added some bacon bits. The kids don't like salsa so I replaced their salsa with Ranch dressing and that turned out fab too!!

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
EXcellent sauce for being so easy and effortless. I scaled it down to six and it still made enough for my family of four and then I froze half. I made a few changes, I replaced the rosemary with basil, used half as much thyme and substitued the other half with parsley, added 1 tbsp of sugar, and some italian sausage. I also only cooked it for 3 hours, I think any longer would have made the flavor start to deteriorate. Its so nice to be out of the house all day and not have to worry about your sauce. Thanks for this great recipe!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
I added 1 Tbsp sugar and 12 oz tomato sauce (I like it a little thinner to dip my garlic bread in), simmered for only 15 minutes and the sauce was absolutely perfect!!! I made the tomato chicken parm and some angel hair spaghetti. I am making it again this Friday for some guests. Thanks so much!!

This was just fantastic!! Even my kids ate it (of course they didn't realize there was cabbage in it). I'll definitely make this again but I think I will spice it up a little with some Cayenne. Excellent!!
