Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
This stew was fantastic and easy to prepare. I doubled the beef broth to 3 cups then lefted out the salt because my broth was commercially prepared and had enough in it already. I will definately serve this again.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Absolutely wonderful. I Served it for Easter and then made a second one for a potluck one week later. Both hams were delicious and everyone commented on how good they were. Like many other people I only used 15 cloves and increased the apple cider till it covered all but a little of the ham. The second time I also halved the clove powder but this was only a personal thing because the clove powder was from a freshly opened package and seemed strong. I will definately be making it again.

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Made this for Easter and everyone loved it. Left out the ham because we were already serving it as the main course. I will definately be making this again. I'm so happy I found this website.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
Used 4c Beef Broth instead of water and cube, afer 5 hours found watery tasting so added 5 dashes of Worcester, 3/4c Barley and 3 more cups Beef broth to balance what the barley would soak up and what had already steamed off. Used straight frozen peas instead of mixed frozen veggies. Ate meat at 6 hour mark (my beef had been cut small and was ready for eating). Family liked it very much- will definately make again. Husband wants to add some dashes of hot sauce next time.
