Very flavorful chicken! I made extra seasonings in a empty spice container for next time. When I doubled the spice mix I just had enough for three large chicken breasts. I did not have fresh lime so I used fresh lemon instead. I added some chicken stock to make a sauce.

Marinated Wild Salmon

Excellent flavor, I initially used regular aged balsamic vinegar. It tasted great, but I bought some of the white balsamic , and it is wonderful. This is the only way I do my salmon, I like the fresh taste of the marinade, I also reserve some for a sauce.

Country Oatmeal Cookie in a Jar

It came out more like a chocolate chip cookie texture , I was expecting more traditional oatmeal cookie that isofter and brown. It was also a little too sweet for me, maybe if I just use the brown sugar only it will turn out better. Still this is a great idea for presents.

Black Joe Cake

I made it exactly as it was written. The cake has nice texture , great to make a layer cake. Comes easy out of the cake pans. It lacks something in taste, tastes a little watery to me. Maybe something can be added to improve the taste.

Sweet Pepper Rice

Cherry Tomato Corn Salad

It was a refreshing salad. I used frozen corn that was thawed first. It was ok like that but I prefer corn cooked. I am using this as an idea for roasted tomatoe and corn salad, which is also delicious. I roast the corn and cherry tomatoes with olive oil and dried basil in the oven at 400F for 9 minutes and then toss it with this recipe's vinaigrette.

Avocado and Tomato Salad

I have made a salad for two by using 1 avocado and 1 big tomato chopped and served on hearts of romaine lettuce. I have added two caps(about two or three tablespoons) of Newman's own light balsamic vinaigrette. It was very tasty! The salad did not look brown and the avos stayed green while it was cooling in the fridge. I noticed with other recipes that the salad dressing can really make a difference on how your salads taste, and I have always had good results with Newman's own dressings.

No-Fuss Chicken

This recipe has been a life-saver, getting my toddler to eat more table food. He loved it and so did my husband. I have made this a couple of times already, with chicken breast with rib meat and boneless chicken breast. It comes out great every time. My husband liked the tenderness of the chicken. I like the sauce for the rice. I used McCormick Season All Salt, I had to use a little more of this the second time around, as it needed a bit more salt than the recipe called for.

Garden Pasta Salad

I took this to a barbeque and it was a hit, even with people that ordinarily do not like vegetables like celery. I added some pimentos from a jar as well and slices grape tomatoes in half. It looked great. I used Newman's Own Light italian dressing, about 3/4 of the bottle. I made it another time with normal zesty italian dressing from a different brand. It was too oily for me. The type of dressing is important.
