Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have been making these for years! I got it from the email that was sent out years ago. This is a wonderful recipe. Yes the grated chocolate is fabulous, however, it is good without it as well!!

American Chop Suey II

My grandmother used to make this & my husband made fun of me when I told him it was called "American Chop Suey". I am delighted to see it on this website. This recipe is the exact one my mom used to use and I loved it as a kid! However, as an adult I have tweeked it some using Worcheshire sauce, chopped green pepper and It. seasonings while the meat is cooking. Makes for a much more palatable dish!!

Pumpkin Cake I

Oh my GOODNESS!! I wish I could rate this recipe more than 5 stars! It was DELICIOUS!!! Everyone LOVED it! Thank you!! I made it into a "pumpkin" using 2 bundt cakes. I frosted it w/a cool whip/van pudding frosting. YUMMMY.

Chicken Enchiladas II

I guess I just dont get it...my husband took 1 bite and said "I've NEVER had an enchilada like this". We didnt like it. I assume I did something wrong b/c of the high reviews this got...? Oh well nice try :-)

Baked Pork Chops I

OMG...this is the best smothered pork chops I have EVER had! I have made this twice & both times the pork was so tender! It just fell off with a fork!! Yum! I did use sherry instead of white wine b/c that's all I had & it was delicious!

Chocolate Eclair Cake

This is wonderful! My grandmother used to make this cake for my brother when we were little. All 3 of my kids (ages 8, 6 and 4) loved it! So did the rest of my family. My dad ate about 1/4 of it alone! I agree w/other writers though; do your self a favor and make the frosting. Also, I used vanilla & Fr. Van. pudding. I made the frosting first and while it was cooling down I made the rest of the cake. I put it in our fridge that we have downstairs (yes, I am blessed to have 2! :-) which I believe is set a little cooler than my other one so it stayed together beautifully when served! YUMMMMMMMYYY!!!
