About this Cook
Well, I am one of those Baby Boomers causing all the trouble.Howec=ver I am a mother of three and a grandmother of 5 so now (except for special things) I mostly cook for myself and for different events I go to. I love the outdoors and doing things around my apartment. I also am seeking new friends daily who might be in my same boat. Sewing and decorating are really what I love. I like to cook but don't cook as much as I used to because I end up wasting a lot of good food.
My favorite things to cook
Spaghetti, appetizers, salads, pork tenderloin - snacks (sweets) really good casseroles - just about everything but fish would really like some goood fish recipes since I don't normally like the taste of fish-lately have been trying with talapia but theres always that fishy thing goin on
My favorite family cooking traditions
Roast Beef, Beef Stew Thanksgiving dinner special appetizers. My Mom and I used to always put up canned goods in the summertime and freeze fruits It was wonderful and she was so creative with desserts plus she made a mean fried chicken and gravy meal (due to this healthy thing we can't have much fried food) I learned a lot from her and she knew what to do with left-overs.
My cooking triumphs
I have this wonderfull pork tenderloin recipe which includes bacon,brown sugar and mushrooms. People ooh and ahh about it.
