Used a ready made shortbread crust and halved all ingredients to make only 1 pie. Mixed 1 1/2 banana in with pudding then sliced last half to go on top. Dip banana slices in lemon juice.

Next time I will replace the water with chicken broth for a bit more flavor and will try using biscuits. And will definitely cut the recipe in half, it makes a lot! Great comfort food and makes the house smell great!

Very good, but will alter a bit next time to better fit our tastes. My husband loved all of the sausage, but it was a little to much for me. Next time I will halve the sausage, add a few more eggs, and double the gravy. I halved the recipe and it made 5 (w/6 in. tortillas) burritos and fit perfectly in an 11x7 pan.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH SAUCE TO COVER THE ROLLS!!!! I made the mistake of cutting the recipe in half and followed as written...needless to say 6 rolls + very little sauce + 9 hours on low in the crockpot = crispy burnt mess! I did manage to find a few edible bites which were very good, but next time more sauce!

MAKE THIS RECIPE EXACTLY AS WRITTEN, YOU WON'T REGRET IT! This recipe has made me a firm believer in making the recipe exactly as written the first time. After that, if changes are needed, then read reviews and tweak. So many people change the recipe then criticize! No changes needed here, sooooo good!!

I made this with 1/2 lb. ground turkey and 1/2 lb. sausage instead of ground beef. Also added butter, parmesan cheese and italian dressing to the noodles and topped with mozzarella. I will cut the recipe in half next time, half a pan easily serves 4-5 people.

As others suggested, this recipe is 10x better after the flavors have a chance to marinate overnight. For this reason I use rotini pasta instead of seashell since it seems to hold up better. I omit the olives and substitute mozzarella for asiago. Last, I buy the mini turkey pepperonis which save on both calories and more chopping! This recipe does take some time to prepare but it's worth it!

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but mine didn't have a slushy consistency. I followed the recipe exactly and removed from the freeaer about 2 hours before serving. It went from large chunks of ice eventually disolving into liquid, no slush...still a great flavor, although a bit disappointed on consistency.

I prepared the recipe as written except for omitting the green onion and adding shredded cheddar. To help with quick prep, I prepared the crust the night before and covered with saran wrap, mixed the crm cheese/ranch, and chopped the veggies storing in fridge. Be careful not to overload the veggies as I did- still tasted great, but pretty messy and hard to serve!

I thought this recipe was delicious exactly as written. I just made one addition- crushed lemon sandwich cookies on top!

This was very good. I used 1/2 ground turkey and 1/2 ground beef and browned with diced onion. Made the rest of the recipe as written and served with garlic bread.

Delicious! I prepared 3 chicken breasts with the following changes: First I patted the chicken dry and dredged in a flour/pepper mixture, shook off excess flour, dipped in 1 egg, then in parmesan cheese mixture (1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs, dash of onion powder and garlic powder). I skipped the frying step and baked instead at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes adding the sauce and mozzarella cheese slice during the last few minutes of cooking. I also used homemade sauce from the World’s Best Lasagna recipe which beats jar sauce any day. The result was wonderful chicken that was moist on the inside with a crunchy coating on the outside!

These were very time consuming to prepare, but worth it in the end! I used pre-made Bob Evans refrigerated potatoes and added some cheddar cheese and finely diced sauted onion. These are great just boiled ("healthy" version), and even better fried in a little butter and onion. I served with sour cream and salsa on the side.

I will keep searching for another waffle recipe, didn't feel these had much flavor.

I used a 3 pund rump roast and added sauted fresh mushrooms. Served on toasted baguettes with mozzerala cheese. This made 6-8 good size sandwiches!

This recipe needed something....it was sweet and bland at the same time if that's possible.

YUM!!! I used medium sized frozen shirmp, thawed. Next time I will definitely cut the butter in half. 10 minutes of cook time is plenty for this size shrimp. This was the best shrimp scampi I have ever had!

Love this recipe! Just be careful not to load with too much of the cheese mixture, the italian dressing can be a bit overpowering. A thin layer of the mixture is all it takes. This is great as an appetizer or as a side dish.

I'm not a huge pie fan, but even I loved this! My only change was to add a little cinnamon and nutmeg to the apple mixture.

I stuffed 24 mushrooms and still had filling left over! 1/4 tsp. of cayenne was a little too much kick for me, next time I will use a little less. I also added about 6 minced shrimp to the filling. Wonderful appetizer!
