Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
We loved this (comming from 2 peanut butter fanatics)! I added 2 chopped chicken breasts and 1 cup broccoli and 1 cup green beans. Could add peanut oil if need to make more out of the sauce. My husband and I don't like pasta too much so we cut the pasta in half.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
used 1 can V8 tom. juice and 2 cans of Rotel. I used brown sug. instead of white and I added 3 cloves of garlic. Everyone enjoyed! I still think the "boilermaker tailgate chili" from this website is my favorite- dont let the ingredient list scare you- its worth it!

Followed to a "T". Hands down the best chili I have ever made. It takes a litte extra prep- but it makes so many servings that it is well worth it!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
3.5 stars for flavor and 4 stars for an easier preparation than my other favorite chicken soups. I used low sodium chicken broth which I think caused the lack of flavor. Next time I'll try to add some garlic salt to see if that helps. I poached the chicken before shredding and putting in soup. Made homemade tortilla chips which were great in soup!

Great sauce...it made the tacos! Next time I'll grill or bake the fish as I don't really care for fried foods.

So simple, but what a great taste. I cooked the almonds with some honey stovetop and dried them on parchment paper. Yum!

Sunshine Morning Muesli

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
I just recently went to Brooylyn, NY and gave meusli a try at a cafe. I immediatly fell in love with this breakfast. When I came home I seached AR and found tried this one. I use whatever dried fruit I have on hand and add whatever fresh fruit I have on hand in the morning. So good and is a better option for hot oatmeal here in the Phoenix summers!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
AMAZING!! I cooked in 10" deep pie dish and baked the bottom layer for 10 min at 350- did egg wash and baked for 5 more min. I used light cream cheese and it was delicious! I chilled the pie for about 2 hours and it was still a bit warm - but sooooo good! All my friends wanted the recipe!

Good for You Greek Salad

Great summer salad. I dont care for pasta- so I like this salad because it is low carb. Used light feta, 1/4 cup red onion. I seeded the tomatoes and cucumber and cut into small pices. Served with a pasta salad. I used this dressing based on another cook: 2T lemon juice, 2T red wine vinegar 1/4t each salt and peper 3T EVOO 1 1/2 t dried oregano. I chilled salad before serving.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
Followed recipe to a "T" and they were the best waffles I have ever made! I used whole wheat flour which made them very filling. I also added some cinnamon because I put it in everything. I topped with some blueberries and maple syrup. Thanks for the recipe! ** Updated: I beat eggs in blender to whip them, then added and blended all wet ingredients and finished by blending in the flour. I was able to pour directly from the blender! I do sub yogurt or applesauce for the oil.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This was excellent! I used groud turkey, added 1T worcestershire sauce to ketsup. Next time I might omit the brown sugar all together since I like salsa as the topping. Will try again!

Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
Great Salad! I roasted the "crunchies" with 1T butter and 1t EVOO. I wanted the crunchies a bit more salty so I sprayed with spray butter before putting them in the oven. I also subsituted peanut oil for vegitable oil and rice vinegar for cider vinegar. I let the dressing boil for 1 minute to disolve the sugar. Next time I might add mandarin oranges. Will make again!
