Beer Batter for Fish

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I can't believe how easy this recipe is! Only thing I did diffrent was sub 1/2 cup of beer for the milk and it was amazing. 5 stars, I would give it 10 if I could.

Kielbasa and Cabbage

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
WOW! This was awesome! My husband died and went to heaven, and then got seconds. He's been asking for it ever since. I added some potatoes but other then that its perfect. Simple comfort food on a chilly night, doesn't get much better then this. You've gotta try it.

First time I've made 'Fried' Chicken & it was to die for! So juicy & falling off the bone good. My husband and I served it with green beans and mashed potatoes. If your looking for a way to use chicken thighs and feed a family on the cheap, this is perfect for you! Thx for sharing.

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This is an awesome recipe! Thx 'SALLYJUN' for sharing. Great base soup that is exceedingly easy to adjust according to your taste. I decided to add 2 packages Italian sausage 1 sweet & 1 hot, like many other review's suggested, the flavors balance each other out. I also added red potatoes sliced paper thin, using a pampered chef tool, and left the skin on. And, Lastly, because I don't really care for spinach in soup I subbed kale, which worked perfectly. All the flavors meld beautifully together, definitely a keeper.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
This turned out good... I didn't strain it enough and the end product was way to chalky for our liking but that was my own fault. The overall taste was good and pretty easy to make.

World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This is AMAZING!!! First time I've ever tried to make potato salad & I was a little freaked out.. I was so thankful for all of the amazingly helpful reviews like "don't worry about the smell when its cooking, its normal.." Thx a million for this wonderful recipe we LOVED IT! Oh, and this is a 'sweet' potato salad so, if that's not your style look elsewhere : ) I also only used half of the dressing & let it rest over night then added a little more before serving but, I still didn't use all of it. So you may want to adjust according to your taste.

Followed to a 'T' ... The cookies turned out horrible. Waste of time and peanut butter :( I've tried many other cake mix cookies that have turned out fantastic, not to sure what happened here...

Easy Minute Steaks

Easy as it GETS... Comfort food to a 'T'. Didn't change a thing (not sure why people find it necessary to change everything & make it nothing of what it was...) Thanks for a super simple dinner!

Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
I wasted a 20 dollar roast on this recipe. I thought I would change it up a little and try something new and I HATED IT. The meat wasn't even close to being done, it was tougher then leather and the texture of the meat was just horrible. I will stick to my 8-9hrs in the crock-pot and take the extra time for a melt in your mouth roast.

Amazing Ribs

This is a keeper! I blew my husband away with this one. He's strange about not eating meat on the bone but he didn't even say a word except 'mmmmmmmm'. Once all the prep work is done you can just walk away while they work their magic. Really, a MUST TRY!
