Leek Potato Mushroom Cheddar Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
delicious. I added extra leeks which was a good thing I think, you could hardly taste them, and extra potatoes as we like our soups pretty thick. will make again.

Yum! Perfect. I might add a little bit more sugar next time as I like it slightly sweet to go with my spicy dishes.

Coconut Macaroons

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
Amazingly delicious and simple! DON'T COOK ON WAX PAPER! :) They stuck really bad, what a mistake! I doubled the recipe (good thing!) but put half the amount of sugar. I added some extra coconut to make them a bit thicker and also did it gluten free substituting rice/tapioca/xatham for the regular flour. These are wonderful!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
Yum I love this! I used real bacon and put it in while the soup cooks so the bacon flavor really infuses into the soup. Great with crusty bread!

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
OH MY GOSH! Perfect! Delicious! Amazing! I was skeptical when I put in the oven because it looked so sloshy but it tastes sooo good! I used frozen blackberries and it turned out great. Served with a scoop of Bluebell Homemade Ice Cream, it's delish!

Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
Really tasty, couldn't stop eating it! We used budweiser beer and used half the recommended amount b/c other reviews thought it was too strong, but we couldn't taste the beer at all. We also subbed sour cream and chicken broth for the milk. Delicious! ** Just made this for the second time. So tasty! Made it with the amount of beer in the recipe but still didn't taste too much like 'beer' to me! *** Third times a charm! Still delicious!!!!!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
Easy and DELICIOUS! I've never made bread before and this turned out perfect. Very lightly sweet, not too sweet at all. Soft and fluffy in the middle, crispy on the outside. I'll double the recipe next time!

Poblano Chile Pepper Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I make a version of this soup that is beyond DELICIOUS! I add crispy bacon, some cream cheese and I could eat this every day!!! Also, I sometimes add some potatoe flakes just to thicken it up. By itself it is not a thick soup but the flavor is amazing. Also, you can buy strips of frozen poblano peppers at my local walmart for very cheap which makes this super quick and easy!

Raw Hummus

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
Okay, so you might have to work with this a bit but it is so worth it! I've made a lot of hummus and this is one of the best recipes (super extra points for me for being sprouted as it's healthier!). Definitely don't leave the sprouts too long or in too small a container or they'll ferment. Wash them at LEAST twice a day. I started in a food processor but it wasn't getting smooth. I poured it into the blender and added more water until it was blending smoothly. I also did a bit less lemon and a tad extra tahini. Letting it sit really gives a chance for the flavors to come together- even better the next day!

Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
I thought this was delicious but I did make quite a few changes. I didn't use any of the canned soup or tomatos. My husband is alergic to wheat so I also left out the bread crumbs. I did spoon on marinara sauce in leu of those ingredients and used both colby jack and parmesan cheese and I also used both zucchini and yellow squash. Very tasty!

Potato Leek Soup III

We eat a lot of soup and I thought this was delicious. We added mushroom and I used regular Russett potatoes I had on hand. Also used more leeks than called for.

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
I thought these were delicious. It's not a complex flavor but they were good enough for me to not be able to stop eating them even though I was full! We only needed 1/4 strip of bacon per mushroom and mixed colby-jack cheese in with the cream cheese instead of onions. YUM!
