Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli

This is a very good and very easy weeknight recipe. Definitey use fresh parmesan - we also had some on the side to add when serving. Only change we did was to add halved cherry tomatoes at the very end when you are tossing everything together - about 3/4 pint worth. Added color and a nice acidity. Would make this again for an every day meal - lots of leftovers too! YUM!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Hard to rate as directed because we changed a few things - was delicious with our changes, but didn't do it as the recipe stated. 1) cut the sugar in half and used brown sugar 2) used balsamic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar 3) used pork tenderloin as that was what was in our freezer 4) Used two onions, one cooking and one vidalia 5) added two potatoes - sliced thick. This was so good - my husband put it together for me as I was already at work when I found the recipe. Was delicious with rice! Nicely done!

Pork Tenderloin with Herb Sauce

Loved this! We used olive oil instead of butter; fresh herbs instead of dried (threw in some fresh oregano too); and fresh garlic instead of powder. We also used this like a marinade instead of just basting. Let sit in merinade for only 45 mins or so - it was great and so tender! We also threw in some red pepper flakes to give it a little kick! Will definitely keep this in my marinade library!

Tomato Basil Couscous Salad

This was so incredibly easy - even a cave man could do it! Really, it was extremely simple, fast, and the best part - DELICIOUS! The basil is great and don't be afraid to use a little more red pepper flakes - very yummy!
