Topless Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
Made these today, in tart shells instead of one big pie. Turned out really well. I took the advice of others and added some lemon juice, and also added in about a heaping tablespoon of raspberry jam while the mixture was cooking. These are great really cold, even out of the freezer and thawed for just a few minutes.

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I just made these for dinner tonight, and I must say, I was a little weary of them at first but they turned out really well. I made exaclty as written other than rolling and cutting. Instead I just rolled out buns with my hands and flattened slightly. They turned out really well, and because of the ease of recipe, I will definately make again.

Spinach Artichoke Feta Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
Made this today for a pot luck party and it was a huge hit! I did not add the dry ranch mix as per other reviewers, but did add about 2 tablespoons of prepared ranch dressing instead. Turned out wonderfully :) I made it into a snowman, as it was a Christmas party and served it with assorted crackers, carrots and celery.

Mom's Best Waffles

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
Really good basic waffle recipe. I added a bit of vanilla and a touch of cinnamon as per other reviews and they turned out pretty good. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavy but with a bit of tweaking, I'm sure they could be great :)

DELICIOUS! These cookies are Really good and relatively easy. I used milk chocolate chips instead of white, and omitted the nuts.

Rollkuchen (Mennonite Fritters)

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I come from a Mennonite family. I love RollKuchen! Our favorite way to enjoy them is dipped in jam (any flavour) or corn syrup. Thank you for sharing a part of mennonite cuisine with the world :)

Lemon Garlic Hummus

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
For my first time making hummus, not bad. I tried it in my blender, and sort of failed, so I spent the last half an hour smushing everything together by hand. As of right now, it tastes pretty good, and I'm sure it'll be better after sitting for a bit in the fridge.

Blueberry-Lemon Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
This recipe is pretty good, my only suggestion is to make it in a smaller pan. I found the crust to be very thin, as well as the filling, otherwise, it's really yummy.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
Very good coffee cake! I should have listened to other reviewers in doubling the recipe but I made it as is. I didn't have enough dough to cover the raspberries and make the cake part so I just put it all on the bottom, topped that with the raspberries and topped that with the almonds. It still turned out delicious, I'm eating my second piece as I write this.

Raspberry Sour Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2007
Fabulous!! Followed the recipe, but cut it in half for one pie. It turned out Great! I used fresh raspberries from my yard. Next time I might substitute almonds for the walnuts because of personal taste but otherwise a great recipe :)

Streusel Rhubarb Dessert

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
Even though I screwed up the recipe, it still turned out Great! I forgot to put the topping on for some reason before I put it in the oven, so about ten minutes before it was supposed to be done, i put on the topping and put the broiler on low for about 4-5 minutes. It was really yummy. I also used 4 cups of rhubard.
