Sweet and Sour Meatballs II

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
I-LOVED-THIS! We had this recipe yesterday for dinner and I feel like having it today too. I did everything as written EXCEPT for the cider vinegar. I did not have any, so I used white vinegar instead, ONLY 1 TBS. That's all you need trust me, if you put more, ur recipe will be ruined just like other reviewers have said.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
Yummi! This was amazingly good. I used shrimps instead of chicken. I omitted the mushrooms as well as the lemon pepper. For the sauce, I used half sour cream, half light cream. After I was done with the sauce, I felt it needed more flavor which is why I added more cajun in the sace, parmesan, cayenne and definitely nutmeg. Next time, i'll try making it with chicken. Thanks a lot for this recipe.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
This recipe is REALLY REALLY good! The flavors all together are amazing. I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned. I did feel that it lacked flavor which is why I added a little bit of cayenne which made it perfect! Thanks a lot for this recipe.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
Fabulous recipe! It's really easy to make. I didn't want my recipe to be plain chicken with no sauce. As skd1983 suggested, I added chicken broth when the chicken started to brown. THEN, you gotta ADD cream cheese (philadelphia) to the chicken broth and melt them. I used 1 tablespoon. Served it on top of noodle pasta. It was great, the cream cheese definitely gives it a good tase. I also sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top of the dish.

Pasta with Yogurt Sauce

Reviewed: May 17, 2008
My husband and I looove this recipe. It's very easy to make, it's light yet satisfying. I have been making this recipe for almost a year now. I make mine slightly different: Cook pasta, drain the water and rinse. Melt a little bit of butter in a pan with minced garlic (this way the garlic won't have a raw taste to it) until butter starts making small bubbles. Mix plain yogurt (doesn't have to be warmed up) with pasta (making sure pasta isin't too hot or the yogurt will seperate). Add the butter to the pasta and toss. We love ours with a little bit of paprika and cayenne for a little kick. You can't go wrong with this recipe.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
I give this recipe an absolute 5 stars. I LOVED IT! Who would have thought that pesto combined with alfredo makes an amazing sauce? I thought I was eating at an Italian restaurant. I didn't have fresh spinach so i used frozen which worked perfectly fine. I also did not have romano cheese, instead I used parmesan. Thanks a bunch for this recipe.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I wanted to try this recipe for a change instead of pasta, it turned out pretty good! My husband and I are not fond of tortellini but we liked it. It's a nice change to my cooking and it's very easy to make.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I personally didn't like this recipe, my husband thought it wasn't too bad. I felt that the mustard mixture tasted weird. The only thing I changed is to cut down on the butter and changed the serving for 2 instead of 4. I don't think I will be making this recipe again.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
My husband loooved this recipe. He was raving while eating it AND the next day. He said he would pay lots of money to eat this meal at a restaurant :D. I used shoulder lamb chops instead of rack of lamb and I cut down a little bit on the salt as others suggested. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Baby Spinach Omelet

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
By making this recipe, I was attempting a recipe that I had tried at a restaurant called ChezCora (very popular in Canada). It was a spinach omelet inside a pancake, rolled and served with hollandaise sauce. It was really good but pricey. I am happy to say that this omelet is really similar. But wow, the amount of spinach is way too much. I used half a cup instead of 1. I also added milk because i wanted it thinner since I was going to serve in in a pancake and SWISS cheese on top of the cooked omelet. Two thumbs up for this recipe!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2008
There's nothing not to love in this muffin. Perfect texture, not too sweet. The taste is light yet satisfying. The crumb topping really gives it a nice kick. The only thing I changed in this recipe is use brown sugar instead of white for the crumb topping. A+ ~

Easy Chicken Korma

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This is my second time making this recipe and both times were very good. For those of you who failed at making this recipe, you gotta make sure that you have the correct chutney. You need to use the SWEET one. The only thing I would change is cutting the salt because for some reason it was too salty and make it more liquidy as the sauce was too thick. Other than that, the recipe is really good.

Turkey a la Oscar

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
I was a little bit skeptical about making this recipe. I was thinking, turkey and shrimp in the SAME dish? How could that be? It actually turned out pretty good. Really fattening though, but hey once in a while is okay right. Especially when I didn't have asparagus in the plate :S. I used chicken instead of turkey. DEFINITELY pound the chicken. I added a splash of lemon juice with the shrimp. Served it over linguinie pasta (mixed with butter again) and lemon juice. This recipe should not be made often.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
I am really dissapointed with how this recipe came out. I had high hopes for this one. The cookies did not flatten out one bit :( The taste is okay, noting special. I'm not sure if it's because I mixed the dough too much, maybe it is.
