Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
I agree it took longer than 10 minutes, but it was worth it. I used flour because I didn't have corn starch. It was a little salty, will probably reduce soy sauce next time. It was very moist and tasty over rice, we will be making this again.

Zesty Southern Pasta and Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Everyone loved the salad. I had to double the recipe for my group. I was surprised not to see any onions in the recipe my group loves onions so I added. I did not have fresh tomatoes, so used can of chopped drained, this worked well. I did not have enough cummin to double nor did i double the chilli powder as per some reviews. Tasted while it chilled and it was just fine. Will ues this again, thank you.

Beer Lime Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Flavor is nothing to write home about. My husband would rather drink the beer himself than use it in this again.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
Average recipe. It needs more time chilli powder the noted. Possible other flavors would be adviseble if you have them in the house (garlic, red pepper). I used boneless pork chops and expected less marinade time needed, even more was needed then suggested. Good but not great.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Very easy and tasty. It's the first time I've made Cream Cheese frosting from scratch and I loved it. I cut the recipe in half and it worked just fine. I didn't measure the vanilla exactly and that worked just fine.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Tasty and easy! This is a keeper and will be used again at our house. We used pepperoncini peppers instead of jalapeño because that’s what we had, I’m sure both would be great.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
I'll make again with some additions. I served it over a small bed of wheat pasta and a side of squash. It was a little bland made as is. I'll add garlic, and other preferred seasonings, maybe even a little red pepper flakes as another noted. Was a little try so will increase the rue sauce I’d like to have more juices.

Banana Oat Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
Interesting bars, not bad, but not great. I did take some of the others input and made it in an 8x8 pan. I also used one full egg and 1 egg white, did use half white sugar & half brown and let mixture set to allow oats to get soft before cooking. I didn't have raisens, but added a little walnuts i had chopped already. Probably won't make again, but we'll eat what we have.

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
As far as pancakes go this was a good recipe. Easy, and only need ingredients we have on hand. I added a dash or two of cinnamon for a nice added flavor. Not real airy, a little more heavy type pancake.

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
The soup turned out great, everyone loved it, I will make again. I did make some modifications. I used boneless skinless breasts. I sautéed the veggies, simmered the chicken once diced, then added water & chicken bouillon. I also added several seasonings (sage, rosemary, basil, bay leaf, garlic) to the broth. I don't measure exactly, but the thickener worked wonderfully giving it the time it needed.

Herb and Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
Good flavors, my family didn't like it over angle hair pasta, the sauce was too soupy. Will try again, but will add thickner to the sauce and we'd increase the seasonings.

Grilled Salmon Kyoto

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
Excellent!! Followed recipe with to taste quantities. I added a little more ginger and others ingredients knowing who I was serving. We BBQ'ed them on a cedar plank which put this recipe over the top. I served it with Skewered Grilled Potatoes also found on All Recipes. Very nice dish.

Very tasty; I put more rosemary, but my family is a fan of it already so wasn't concerned.
