Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Love this! Browning the meat first and the wine sauce was great. I cut up my meat and made it more of a beef stew. I also used 2.5 pounds of meat instead of 5.5 lbs thinking it would be enough.... I was wrong! 5.5 lbs will be better next time. Cooking it again tonight!

Balsamic Chicken

I needed to make something quick that didn't require a trip to the grocery store and found this recipe! My boyfriend now requests it every night and I make it for any pot luck. Everyone wants the recipe!

Quick and Easy Home Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
This was so quick and easy! I followed the recipe but added some onion powder, garlic salt and pepper. It gives it a little more flavor and i never see a problem adding garlic to anything!

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
These were really great but I like my frosting MUCH more thick than what recipe calls for. I will tweek it next time. Use this frosting with the Best Sugar Cookies Recipe (they truly are the BEST) that I have rated. You won't regret it!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
I was so excited to make these cookies after reading such great reviews...and I can't believe I'm saying this but they were so incredible they were better than the one's my mom used to make (don't tell!) I made them for my boyfriend (who insisted he hates sugar cookies) and it couldn't put down the tin and ate 10 in his first sitting! I also brought some to work to hadn out to customers and I had to print up this recipe to almost every co-worker and customer that got to try them! I will now make them for any special occasion. One Hint: I tried to leave the dough in the refrigerator for a few hours but it was too difficult to deal with rolling and cutting. I suggest leaving in overnight...it was a breeze!

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
SO good! I used fresh parm cheese and put it in very slow as suggested and it was so flavorful. I also sprinkled in some onion powder, garlic powder AND some small cooked shrimp! It was amazing. I will make it many more times to come!

Hot Spiked Cider

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
I made this cider for a work event and it was a HUGE hit! I made a few batches: one how the recipe says to but with no alcohol (turned out great for those who don't drink), one WITH the rum but I added an extra cup of cider because it is rather strong (but that's what makes it good!), and the third I made with Cinnamon tea like someone suggested (it was still good but not as amazing at the orange spiced tea). I also sprinkled ground cinnamon in both. I only got to have one drink because i kept having to make more!! Everyone complemented the chef :)
